Nearly Drowned ~Mermaid/Pirate/Tourist/Romance RP~

Araina glared at Nyx. "I'm getting tired of you and your under-the-breath comments. I bid good day to you. To all of you," she said, looking around at the pirates.

Will had to pinch himself from grinning crazily at Araina's comment to Nyx. He smiled and nodded. His shirt was soaking, but it probably needed the water anyway.
Araina gave one last smile to Landon, and Will, then jumped off the boat. She smelled him again. The handsome boy with the angry eyes. She swam to him tentatively. "Hi, again," Araina said softly, her hair floating around her.

Landon was rather surprised by the hug that Araina gave him. "Um, you're welcome," he said and gave her a small hug back. He watched as she jumped off the boat and into the water. "Okay then, I guess we'll see you 'round." He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed a little as he glanced over to Nyx.

Axel swam backward slightly, startled by Araina's sudden approach “Oh it’s you” He smiled slightly, but his eyebrows soon pulled together into a frown. She was just like them… Them humans! He glared at the ship; it didn’t belong in these waters! Wasn’t it clear to those murderers that ever inch of the sea is for the sea creatures? Not those filthy creatures of the land!

Araina watched the boy's angry eyes. They were...hurt. "Why are you so upset?" she asked, concerned, inching closer to him.

Axel flinched away from her, this human lover made him sick “Haven’t you seen the way them Humans act?! They kill and steal! They hurt our kind! How can you speak to them so formally?!” he hissed, his long slender fingers clenched into fists “They’re disgusting I hate them!” he snarled.

Araina looked at him worriedly. "The humans on that boat didn't kill me. In fact, they saved my life. Not all humans are bad,-" Araina broke off. "What's your name?" she asked, slightly hurt.

Nyx sat on the boat's eeck, ready to return to the sea at any moment. "I'm tired of her," she muttered to herself, and looked at Landon when he looked at her.

"Well, she's gone for now," Landon replied with a small shrug. "Sorry that she gets on your nerves." He folded his arms loosely across his chest and sighed. "But, I don't want you to leave. I've come to enjoy the company of a mermaid."
