Landon chuckled as he brought Araina back onto the deck. He pulled the dagger from his hilt and cut through the strands of the net with ease. "There. You have a bit more freedom." He turned his attention back to Nyx with a bright smile. "I guess that's a good thing to hear. I felt as though he were the worst father at times."

"Yes, dying!" He looked at Landon. "Mermaids, do breathe air, you know..." he said slowly.

As Araina was hauled back on board, she gasped for air, and began to untangle herself. "I should breathe more often," she muttered to herself. She wrapped the net off her, and threw it, and scooted towards the end of the boat. "Captain Trevor Sterling...where have I heard the name before? I know I've heard it..." she thought. Then it hit her. She had been caught once before, but do to her sleep she had forgotten about it. Just before the witch cast a spell on her, she had been captured. There had been a boy aboard, and the captain had referred to him as Trevor Sterling. Called him by his full name, every time he was referred to. She had managed to escape, because the captain had said she was too young, so they threw her back. "I knew your father, Landon. I knew him when he was just a boy," Araina said.

"Oh no no....He was hjust stressed when he was at home...always wanting to get money to supprot your family...he was sweet," Nyx murmured, looking at Landon carefully. "Besides, I'm sure he wanted to tell you how proud he was...but never got the chance...?"

"You know him too? I never knew he was that popular," Landon chuckled as he leaned up against the railing of the ship. "Actually, I thought that he never released any mermaids he captured, since he was so amazed by them and whatnot." He glanced over to Nyx. "Yeah, I can understand that. I'm sure he tried to show how proud he was in other ways, that I never realized."

Alexis silently stood up glance around the Island, there was no way she could get home. Home? She thought panicking slightly. She couldn’t remember where her home was. She was in the middle of thought tracking, when she saw a young man, most likely in his early twenties. She stared at him blankly, was she imagining things again? She staggered backwards as she spotted the ship “A pirate?!” she hissed, eyeing Spade wearily.

"Why not just come out to the waters...?" She mused softly, leaning back slightly. "Come, I promise I'll bring you back...we won't go to far," she added, patting the spot beside her. "We can go for a little swim....and then we can come back and talk somemore. I need a little water,"

"Isn't it kinda deep out here?" Landon asked as he looked down at the roaring waves below. He was a little unsure about it. "I guess a small swim couldn't hurt...I guess I'll come." He sat down on the part of the railing that she patted. "Will, you take charge while I'm gone. It shouldn't be a long time."
