Araina screamed, and tried to beat at Syndy. She looked pleadingly at Landon and Will.

Will groaned internally. He didn't want to see Araina killed, but he couldn't grab her from Syndy's arms without Landon's consent.

Spade shouted to his men to raise the anchor. He retied his bandana and returned to the tiller and slowly guided the Black Magican away from Landon's ship. He set sourse for an island port, Ocho Rios to be exact.

(Alright xD It'll be Mer Hunter. After all, his father was into catching mermaids most of his life, so it's fitting.)

"Syndy, what are you doing!?" Landon asked in a low growl. "She's just fine the way she is. We're not hurting her." He kept a wary gaze on her though. "Just let her out of the net at least, since that's what you were all up about before."

Syndy threw Araina over board, into the salty water. "Now stay away from them damn nets!" She shouted.

Araina screamed again, getting herself even more tangled in the net. She was a mermaid, but she had lungs. She could hold her breath for days, but air supply goes out fast when you're panicking, and when you weren't breathing when you were above water. She didn't need to. Before Araina knew what was happening, she was drowning. Suffocating.

Will ran to the side. He knew what was happening. He had seen it before. "Landon, do something! She's dying!" he said.

As the tide dropped Spade had to change course for his ship. He came across a small island, very little greenary but he saw a few pinaple trees here and there from his spyglass. He could spot Alexis from the crowsnest. He climbded down and turned his ship twords a coral reef on the oposite side of the island. Him and a few of his crew stepped foot on the white sand of the island. He told them to stay there before he began to walk twords where he had last spotted Alexis.

"Really?" Landon asked, almost forgetting about how angry he was towards Syndy for letting the mermaid go. "He really said those things? He was usually so strict on many things. But, he said that it was for my safety." Landon glanced over to Will and immediately ran over to his side. "Dying?" he muttered under his breath as he tossed a hook overboard to latch onto the net. Once he felt the weight of the net, he began to pull Araina back up onto the deck.
