Syndy shrugged. She sat on the edge of the boat and starred at Spade.

"Captain Trevor Sterling," Landon replied in a somewhat proud tone. "But, he passed away not too long ago and left me in charge. Sadly, he never told me much on how to lead a crew and all of that." He glanced over to Araina. "Year? Somewhere around 2000 I think. Even I lost track of that."

"Oh," she began, then ending with a stream of Merish cusswords. "The last time I was awake could've been in the 1950's," Ariana moaned. "I'm sorry about your father," she muttered to Landon.

Syndy sighed.

Alexis yawned wholeheartedly, stretching her arms above her head. "Some cruise..." she muttered looking at the small island she'd been washed up on, not much greenery, just a bunch of boulders and rocks. She searched through her hazy memory to try and remember just how she'd survived the shipwreck. A young boy? Yes she could remember now... A boy round about the age of sixteen had saved her... but how could such a young teenager swim that well? And for some strange reason a powerful fish tail came to mind whenever she recalled thoughts of the boy "Mermaid...?" she wondered leaning against a rough boulder. "Nah, that would be stupid! They’re just myths!" She laughed lightheartedly. That was probably one of the only times there wasn't a frown glued to her face.

Axel swam in a uneven figure of eight. Although the chains around his tail restricted his from swimming very fast. "No fair, those two-legged things always hog the sea's surface. It's no fun when they try to catch you" he thought out loud, he tended to do that alot. He swam slightly closer to the surface, curiously peering through the water at the so called human beings. The water made their faces look disorientated, making them look as threatening as ever. "They have mermaids on their ship?!" His nose wrinkled at the memories of his mother being snatched away from the strange breed of humans called pirates.

Syndy looked and saw noone near the mermaid. She took and chance and tried to grab Araina.

(Only the one that his crew and the mermaids are on. That's the ship he inherited from his father. I still have yet to give it a name... The Black Magican is Spade's ship I believe.)
