Danielle lived in New Zealand for all her life. On her 17th birthday, She was turned. When her family learnt of this, Her mother threw her out of her home. Danielle had no choice but to live with her adoptive vampire family. When Danielle remembers her past, She thinks of nothing but revenge. She has never had the courage to visit her human life but maybe that just might change.

Layla said, "It's fine. I mean, of course, it was me. You wouldn't be in love with anyone else." She smiled and asked another question, "Do you play sports?"

Torin shook his head to the left once than to the right once. "I can't remember if I did or not."

Layla stared at him and disbelief. She asked softly, "What do you mean by you can't remember? Do you play sports not when you were younger, but now?"

Torino thought of how to explain his condition to her so she would understand. "When I was made into a vampire at age 19, someone staked me during the process. Luckily I was more human than vampire and the venom healed me or I would be dead. After the incident I can't remember anything, even the years after that, I had a memory problem. Many cannot explain it. Than I had more issues when my last mate disappeared and couldn't remember her rarely or anything we did. It was all like a dream in a way. I came here for a refuge in a way but also it helps with my memory."

Jesse looks back at Zoey and smirks. "A surprise." He turns back than starts to cook up his chicken Alfredo. He looks back at her, "well this could answer your question but, do you like chicken Alfredo?"

Zoey giggled and replied, "I don't like it. I abseloutely adore it." She smiled and remarked with a wide, optimistic smile, "Amazing choice." Zoey could already smell the aroma of the Chicken Alfredo that would soon be her sublime meal.

Layla sighed and responded with a soothing tone of voice, "I'm sorry about that..." She slipped her hand into his and forced a fake smile. However, it soon faded away, and she looked down at her feet that were shifting nervously. Layla asked sadly, "Would you ever forget about me?" She believed the answer would be yes if he couldn't even remember his mate. Layla couldn't even bear the thought of entirely forgetting about Torin. That would be so dreadful.

Jesse smirks at Zoey, "Than I have good taste." The aroma of Chicken Alfredo made his mouth water. He grabs a little sample and brings it to Zoey, "Hear try some." He says gently handing the food over.

Torin stopped walking and spun Layla so she faced him. He squeezed her hand gently and placed the other against her cheek. "It would ruin me if I forgot you because you are so remberable, I could not forget." He looked down. "Don't let me forget what we do though and please don't get angry if I do not remember something. It already hurts to know that you cannot remember things, important things at that."
