Zoey let out a deep sigh, but her eyes sparkled with joy and a lighthearted smile dancing on her lips. Acknowledging her defeat, she reluctantly groaned, "Fine, but I still think I could empty your bank account. I was planning to go around to each store and purchase everything on sale. Then, I might purchase the mall building, so it would belong to me..." Zoey drifted off while thoughts about living and shopping everyday in the mall utopia flooded her mind. Snapping out her dreamland, her gaze shifted across their scenery. They were in the middle of nowhere. Zoey desperately pleaded, "I'm sorry, Jesse. I promise you can choose what to buy. Please, please don't leave me here."
Cameron's smile faded away when he noticed the humming phone. He swallowed and tensed to prepare for whatever would come next, but he still hoped that it wouldn't invovle Danielle bitterly sobbing or dreadful news. Cameron stood up and hesitantly took a few steps toward her. He gazed at Danielle to take note of misty eyes or other signs of sadness while he waited to find out who was on the other line.
Robert fixed his eyes on the screen and found himself enjoying the horror. Occasionally, he would be alarmed and slightly jolt in his seat, quietly chuckle at the stupidity of one of the characters, or sneak a brief glimspe at Miko to see if she was enjoying the movie as much as him. Later, Robert noticed the movie was coming to an end when the climax dawned. He was a bit disappointed it would be over soon, but he was grateful that they were able to watch it.
Toby's eyes widened and a hint of shock and fear appeared on his face. He gulped and repeated with a voice that sounded like a mouse's squeak, "Against?" Toby forced a grin and a nervous chuckle. He shook his head and responded, "Playing with sounds better." Toby took a tenative step forward and asked slowly, "So if we're both in the same team, do we just try to throw the ball into the net?"
