Brand new dystopia roleplay is looking for semi-lit+ members!

In a not-too-distant future, humans have lost the ability to dream as a result of brain-damaging pollution. All children are born without the ability to dream, and seem to have no chance of developing it. Unfotunately for the dreamless humans, several corrupt government officials saw the situation as an opportunity to control the population, and funded the creation of a serum that restores the ability to dream. This serum returns the ability to dream (and the added benefits of total dream recall, vivid dreams, and lucid dreaming), but any citizen who chooses to take it permanently loses their right to vote.

It has now been approximately twenty years since the creation of the serum, and many young adults who were born without the ability to dream, or who lost it when they were too young to remember, are turning eighteen and becoming eligible to take the serum and relinquish their right to vote. Do they believe that they can gather forces with great enough numbers to usurp the government, or will the lure of dreams be stronger than a rebellion?

Modoc is a small town in Union Township, Randolph County, Indiana. The town population was 196 back in 2010, and has grown very little within the years. It is a small, friendly little town, where everyone knows everybody. And, of course, you'd expect not much goes on here, but that is about to change. In the dense woods that surround the town, wolves that nobody ever noticed, are beginning to stir. Many town citizens have reported the odd wolves circling the town at night. They are seen very seldom in the day, but thy are there. Even a few have been seen sitting a few yards back listening to Osagwe's town myths. The wolves have yet to harm anyone, and nobody really knows if that is even the creatures' intentions. Who knows? Maybe someone or something is trying to harm them instead...

Welcome to Rosewood, a seemingly peaceful and quiet neighborhood, if you live on the right side of town. You've lived here you're whole life, you and you're family trying to hold up the perfect family image while on the inside you're life's literally ripping at the seems. To the North Siders, you're known as the snotty rich kids who always get what they want and take things for granted. North siders and South Siders don't associate with each other due to race and the North Sider's reputation. All North Siders are in a gang called the Latino Bloods, or LB. South Sider and North Sider boys definately don't mix and fight half the time.

As a child, you saw pictures of mutants. Like cats with 'wings' or whatever. And when you would look out your window, you would see birds flyin higher thain the sky, but you were never envious of thies animals. You were one of them. Somehow in your geans, smething got screwed up and you were born with full, wings. You could accuretly fly and everything. For some of you kids, your parents accepted you for you. For other kids, your parents throught you were freaks and threw you out on the street at a young age. But whatever the circumstances may be, somehow, you were wandering in a far stretch of woods on the far side of town, and you herd something in the distance. When cureosity burned you all the way through, you desided to go investigate it. After walking about a quarter of a mile deeper into the woods, you stumbled across a log cabin. It did not look big on the outside, but somehow, you knew, that the inside was huge. Voices and laughter came out room the house, and they stared to get louder as people aproached the door. You jumped back, cowering behind a tree, wanting to see what kids were hiding in the woods. A second or two passed, and two teenagers walked out. But that isnt what made your blood run cold in your body. On their back was two light, feathery wings. What will you do now?

It's the same routine every year; your parents go on vacation to Europe, leaving you with your crazy vegan godparents and their kids. They live in North-Western Washington, deep in the Olympic mountains. The closest town is nothing but a ghost anymore, and you can only dream of escaping. But what if there is an escape, closer than you could ever imagine? There have been rumors about the woods for years, mythical creatures that have been brawling, good against bad, for years, but you haven't been foolish enough to believe them. It's only when you go into the woods, that you learn it's deepest, darkest secrets.

Fishermen are on their boats and either spot, of catch a mermaid, what they do with them is their choice. Mermaids are always female, they are usually playful, and some are better around fishermen than other. But there are a few tat despise the humans, and hate their existence. Mermaids always have tails but can crawl onto water, they don't breath water but are much like other sea creatures and can hold their breath for enormous amounts of time. Mermaids are able to hold air for up to 3 hours. They are generally able to swim up to 100 miles per hour. Fishermen don't know of mermaids, although men have created theories. Mermaids have beautiful voices, better than humans. Their voices may carry on for miles and miles to reach the ears of fishermen. Those men can follow the sounds or ignore, but ignoring them is incredibly hard. Most greedy men will capture mermaids and let people either see them, or listen to their singing, in return, the mermaids are allowed to live. Anther precious thing about a mermaid, is that a single tear drop from them can heal a man to perfect health and some say it can even make you live forever.

This isn't my rp but it's really interesting and I suggest joining it! Click on the wolf eyes! This is District12-'s Wolf Pack.

Not too long ago, two packs lived among each other in peace and harmony. They kept out of each other's way, and knew there was nothing to fight over. Everything changed when a tornado swallowed their home. Wolves were panicking as the tornado surrounded about half of the packs together. Wolves were dieing faster than the tornado was moving, and very few escaped, but with cuts and serious injuries. The wolves that died were reduced to ash, and the ones that lived died of their injuries, or were the several lucky wolves who made it out alive. They searched for their long lost pack, but had discovered each other. The wolves were hopeless, and knew if they didn't stick together, they could die. The wolves are hopelessly trying to get things together. This pack could save their lives. Then again, it could collapse into the past. Only time will tell if this alliance will seal their fate.

This is a Hunger Games roleplay. So far we only have one character and need people to join, though it's perfectly optional. Basically, in the future, the world has broken apart and only North America, now called Panem, is left. Due to a rebellion of the dstricts which resulted in one being destroyed, the capital city (Originally, the Capitol) created a brutal type of entertainment where kids each year would have to fight in a no-rules game. This is based off Susan Collin's books, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, however to make it more original, this isn't with the normal districts but set in a paralell dimension with my custom districts.
