The Diamonds control the north side, Hearts control the East, Spades have the south and Clubs control the west. What will happen, who will win, how many lives will be lost and who will join together to beat out the others; and out of all this war and hate could love find a way to forum or will all love be forgotten for loyalty to the gang?

"Many years ago, as the full moon shown bright," Nash said with an eerie tone," the inhabitants of Legend's Run heard a horrible howling. The cry of the beast wailed throughout the town. As the howling grew closer, children woke from their sleep, travlers had to control their horses, and homeowners locked their doors. The few brave souls who did venture out to investigate say they witnessed a creature never seen before--a monster standing on two legs, thin as a man, hairy as a dog, with the fangs of a wolf and the eyes of a beast."
"Ooh!" Ivy whimpered, hugging my arm.
Tall tales of werewolves ran rampant for generations in Legend's Run. It might have been because occasionally a wolf was spotted in the outlying wooded areas and in the early days there wasn't much else to do but create outlandish stories of their origin. I was a skeptic on rumors; I had the mindset that I'd have to see it to believe it. To me, there was a big line between fact and fantasy. However, hanging out here in the darkness, anything seemed possible.
"The creature appeared tormented," he continued. "It was ready to attack at any moment." Nash raised his hands as if her were the monster.
Now I clutched Ivy.
"This monstrous creature could rip a giant into tiny pieces. His bite was deadly and he could kill without warning. The townspeople tried in vain to capture and kill the monsters, but he returned, full moon after full moon. The creature couldn't be taken down with a gunshot or the threat of fire, but instead vanished into the woods."
Nash paused. "The townspeople often awoke to find their cattle missing, or in some cases dismembered."
"Gross!" Ivy exclaimed.
Abby let out an audible gasps. "Tell us more!"
"It was only a matter of time, they feared, before the monster would be coming for them.
"The residents spent the nights of the full moon living in terror," he continued, "wondering what--or who--would be the beast's next victim."
"I can't take anymore," Ivy said, covering her ears.
The darkness played with our imaginations. I spotted Dylan and Jake eying the woods as if every tree hid a stalking werewolf.
"Some dismissed the witnesses' accounts as drunken tall tales,"Nash said. "Still others swore these was only one explanation..."
We waited in trembling awe.
"A citizen of Legend's Run had become a werewolf," he concluded in a serious tone.
His words left us silent.
Then he said with a deliberate voice, "But which of their neighbors had been overtaken by the glow of the full moon was never discovered."
"No--" Abby said.
"Still, generations later, underneath a full moon, the werewolf can be seen but has never been captured," Nash instructed. "By day he is an ordinary man, descended from that unlucky citizen of Legend's Run. But by night and under the curse of the moon, his eyes turn red, his muscles bulge, his teeth grow sharp, and he is covered in fur. A half man, half wolf who is tortured by his condition and threatening to anyone in his path."
Then he looked at each of us. "Could the werewolf of Legend's Run have been one of your ancestors?" he wondered out loud.
The firelight cast ominous shadows against Nash's face, distorting his normally perfect features. His nose seemed as long as a warlock's, his ears pointy, his hair savagely spiky. His hazel eyes appeared fiery red.
He glared at us again. "Which one of us could be the Legend's Run werewolf's descendant?"
"Not me!" Abby blurted out.
Just then a grusesome howl was heard off in the distance.Once in a Full Moon - Ellen Schreiber

Hello and welcome to the 99th Hunger Games!
This year, we have a very special treat in-store for our 24 eager tributes. Each one will be designated their own unique comapanion, or guardian, which will aid them in the Arena, along with the normal weapons found in the Arena. However, the companions are more than just an animal friend: this year, they count as a LIFE. Yes, that's right! Each tribute has two lives - their own their companions. If only one gets killed, the tribute is still able to win. I'm sure all of you are very excited by this, and can't wait to meet your second lifeline out!
Happy 99th Hunger Games...and may the odds be ever in your favour.

Of course, it was another boring school day. So you got prepared to go and ate breakfast. You grabbed your bag. The house was dead silent, which wasn't normal. So you walked into your mom's bedroom and looked around. On her dresser, she left a note saying she was gone for a business trip. That meant you wouldn't get a ride to school. It was like, a mile away from your house though. You felt slightly nervous for school for no reason. Or was there one? Oh, yeah, your secret crush. You've been hiding your orientation. When would you finally open the closet? Who knows. Not soon. You'd be a loser if you did. So you walked out and slammed the door behind you after you put on your shoes. Why would your mom do this? She doesn't even have that much of a good job. It just doesn't make any sense.
Once you finally arrived at school, you almost immediately spotted your secret crush. You look away and walk over to your friends. Suddenly, the president walks out of the school and announces, There is no school today. The police are here because they are checking if anyone has drugs anywhere in the school, if we find some, we'll let you all know. Please go home. You turned around and headed home. What was the point of even waking up? You could've continued sleeping and woken up later.
Oh no, your secret crush decided to go to their friend's house. And this 'friend', they're your neighbor. Which means, your neighbor will ask you to hangout with her and your secret crush, like always. She always found you 'cool', but you really weren't. So, once turning on the corner to go on your house's street, she suddenly asked you, Hey, wanna hangout with us until later? We'll be bored as heck, we want someone to entertain us. She gave you puppy eyes and it was too late to think of an excuse, so you nodded. Yay, c'mon! She grabbed both your crush's hand and yours and pulled yous toward her house.
This was gonna be an adventure and you knew it.

A young adult and you've already got an impressive track record -- in crime. Thievery, arson, forgery, assault, murder. Lying is an art form. You spin new stories and characters every day. Every time you walk into the room you formulate different ways of escape. Indeed, you're probably one of the most wily and skilled people of your age. Not that it'll help you any. You're a wanted man.
At least you would be -- if you were ever caught.
Yeah, you're so awesome. You pulled off your crime without nothing but half - formed theories to follow you out of the place. No one in the general public knows your face, nor what you've done, and the government and law enforcement have circumstantial evidence at best. You ran around for a while, didn't stay too long, but after coming to this large city you figure that, with everyone around and the sheer size of the place, finding you will be like finding a needle in a haystack. You settle down, lead a rather mundane life (for the most part), and currently you're just finding your way around this place, arrogantly assuming you're home free.
You should've seen this all coming, then. You were careless.
You're a Hitter
You're the best at what you do -- for a price. Whether you're new to the entire scene or you're a veteran, you're professionally trained in the art of killing. Your reflexes are excellent, your body at the peak of physical excellene, and you're quite smart, if you do say so yourself. A gun for hire. That's what you are. Nothing but the job matters, once you get it.
As a professional, your face is unknown -- or rather, it's supposed to be. Maybe you slipped up once in your past. Wasn't really your best move. In any case, being discreet is your talent. It's no use attracting attention to yourself. After all, what you're doing, strictly speaking, isn't technically legal. In some ways you're just like the criminals...except you don't leave traces when you finish the job. And you get steady pay. That's always a plus.
Recently you've received a new job. Whether it's from a vengeful family member, a suspicious government member, or just some anonymous man offering you a good price, you set off to finish and get your dues. You expect it'll just be like any other job. Find. Kill. Clean up. Get money. Nothing new.
You've tracked your target to a large city that's infested with criminals, whether official or not, and you groan to yourself. How are you supposed to find someone in this place? But you're a professional, remember. You don't fail.So What Happens Next?Do you run into other criminals here? There is a school or two around, after all, and even if you've long since graduated you've made a habit of wandering popular haunts. Of course, trust really isn't much of a word to you. Still, when these killers come in, you might want to have some back - up. Don't get involved with these guys. Confrontation really isn't much of a strength of yours.
You'll probably run into some sort of competition. It's a big city, and there are lots of criminals, here. But hey, as long as they don't get in your way, you couldn't care less. But pinning this one target down might be harder than you thought. How about it, you want to make an alliance with some other hitters in the area? Of course, groups like these never last long, and you run the risk of someone knowing your face, afterwards. Still, with help you can get this job done in half the time...Second_Choey wrote:ιт'ѕ α вeαυтιғυl ѕυммer αғтerɴooɴ,
