Square One- A Semi-Lit Survival Rp. Needs Members!

It started with disease, followed by devastating natural disasters. Stock markets crashed, governments lost power and people panicked, joining together in groups and violent gangs trying to survive. The world is now every man for himself, and there are no signs of improvement. What will you do to survive?

Amongst all of the chaos, there sits a large farm nestled in the mountains of Appalachia, hidden from gangs. Thanks to the rough terrain of the mountains, the farm has sat relatively peacefully and unnoticed. Gangs are unprepared in the forest, underestimating its power, and the family that lives there. If you are lucky enough to stumble onto the farm, its best to make friends, because this might be the only place you have a chance of survival.

Chandranath ( 'Chan' ) are special creatures. Shapeshifters. Most shifters are half-bloods, which means they may only shift to three living animate objects other than their human form. The others, the very rare pure-bloods are able to shift to any living animate object. But anyway, your part of the pack. You live within the pack and you hunt in a pack. ( unless given other notices by alphas ) There are only twelve members to this pack, six males and six females. Each shifter is put in a ranking for this pack always shifts to wolves.

The first year marking the districts' defeat sends mixed emotions throughout Panem. The Capitol celebrates proudly, throwing parties that only flaunt their power over the districts. The remaining twelve districts that survived the rebellion are silent with fear from the rumors of what is coming. The Hunger Games.

No one knows what this Hunger Games is, and one can only assume the merciless government has planned something big. Something cruel. Something unforgettable. Something that will truely show the strength of the Capitol in which the government doesn't hesitate the defeated districts of. As minds whirl and morph ideas of what this "Hunger Games" could possibly be, assumptions and predictions fly through the air. But no one really knows what really is to come, and when the revelation of the event is released, terror cannot to begin to describe what the defeated districts feel.

Two teenagers, called "tributes", that are from the ages twelve through eighteen are chosen from each district- one boy and one girl- to compete in the fight for their lives. They will be paraded like pets by stylists and Capitol citizens, interveiwed, studied, scored, trained, and tested. They will be human sacrifices to show to the people who is really in control. They will kill each other in the hopes to be the victor. Twenty-four of them will go in, only one will come out. The weak, the young, the crippled, the diseased all put against the strong, the oldest, the cunning, the quick. Forced to kill one another, there is no choice but to accept your fate.

Death.

The Reaping Day as they call it, has now come and gone. A name pulled out of a large glass bowl, a child torn from their families. A boy and a girl, two tributes. Doomed to die, doomed to be mocked by the blood-lusting Capitol citizens. To them? This is entertainment. A show. A thrill. To you? This is your life. Your death. Your doom. When your name was called out by the eager Capitol Ambassador who's voice rings out cheerfully through the townscenter, fear courses through your vains. What is going to happen to you? Well, only time will tell. Whether you die or triumph, you know that the path ahead of you isn't going to full of sunshine and rainbows.

- I have EST, so I'm sorry if I'm not on at the same time as everyone else.
- I do have school, so I can't be on all the time.

This roleplay takes place when two southern water tribe teens, Katara and Sokka, find Aang. The two siblings find out he is the Avatar and help him travel the world to master the four elements, and defeat the Fire lord. They soon find Toph, who joined to be his earthbending teacher, and even Zuko joined! Now, Aang and the Gaang must face several challenges to end the war and restore peace to the nations once again. The world believes he is the last airbender, but is he?

Well, looks like you'll just have to find out yourself! Create your very own character, or play as a main character (PM me please for Main character!), and choose your path. Create your own destiny and maybe even help save the world! The question remains though, which side are YOU on?

Please be friendly with the other members here! I don't like it when fights break out over piddly stuff, like which element is better, etc. It's nice to get along with others, because they'll also be nice to you.

~ Don't ask to be a Roleplay Admin/Mini-Mod ~

I will chose who the Roleplay Admins and Mini Mods are. Admins accept and run the roleplay while I am offline. They kick out any player who is disobeying the rules. Mini Mods accept the people who join when I am not on, and/or when the admins aren't on.
If you are an Admin/Mini Mod, please PM me somebody's form when they join or whoever you feel needs to be kicked for their actions. I am the one who decides if the member is kicked or stays in, because i'd like to hear both sides of the story, or just read what they've posted.

~ No being your own spouse/date/or crush ~

I might allow this at a later time, but currently, no. Being your own date, crush, or spouse tends to get boring, and who wants it to be boring? Plus, your characters interact with other members' characters more often, and you never know how they'll reply, which makes it all the better!

~ PM or ask me to roleplay a main character ~

I very much don't like it when people join and automaticly put a main character's form in. Please ask or pm me to be a main character! I'll make sure that most, if not all, members may have a chance to roleplay at least one main character. Not everyone can be a main character though, which is ok. You can create your own and make up their own past, their future, etc!
Main Characters can also be OOC (Out Of Character) But not too much, lol! Most of the time, a main character must be in character and act like they normally would.

~ You can have as many characters as you can handle ~

You can have many characters, just make sure you can handle them all and roleplay them often! We don't want one to be ignored. If you don't know what to do with the character, have them find/interact with other member's characters, or go on an adventure! I'm sure that if you ask, people will join right in!
And please no more than two elements! PM me if you wish to have two elements (Very rarley ever three).

~ Nothing too gorey or detailed ~

This is a child friendly site, and kids/teens make up most of the population here. So please, Don't get too detailed on fights, having a baby, etc. We do not want to get into trouble because of a naughty roleplayer.

The Dragon Hunger Games

Many many years ago, in fact, so many years ago that it's now thought to be a legend, there was a massive country where all dragons lived in peace and harmony. There was no war, no conflicts, just peace and happiness.

However, the weather surrounding the regarding country strangely grew wild. Massive earthquakes, devastating tsunamis, and destructive volcanic erruptions took place, destroying half of the land. Literally, it all either sank into the ocean or broke apart into thousands of tiny islands. However, half of the country remained in relative condition. The natural disasters subsided, but the spirits of the dragons were broken. The richer, more fortunate dragons formed a Capitol, and divided most of the remaining land into 13 districts. It remained this way for years unconflicted, but then, the rebellion began.

The districts were sick of being treated "like crap" by the Capitol, so they announed war against it. The Capitol struck back thirteen times harder, wiping out District 13 and horribly wounding the other twelve. The assure that this would never again happen, they began the Dragon Hunger Games, where, once a year, two tributes, one male and one female, between the ages of 12 and 18 were to be randomly chosen at the reaping and compete in a bloody competition to the death with only one winner, just for the entertainment of the the Capitol. They were thrown into an arena, their wings clipped so they could no longer fly, but only glide short distances, and expected to kill of be killed.

That was 87 years ago. This is now. Are you prepared? Welcome, my friends, to the Dragon Hunger Games.

"ωhy, hello there.” A voice behind you whispers. You look around, you found yourself in a dark wooden area. For a few moments, you wonder how you got here, and then you remember. It was the night before, you believe, that you had been randomly picked up off the streets and then everything else after that is a complete blank. “Welcome.” The voice says, now walking out of the shadows. You see that in the moonlight, that it is a rather pretty girl. Long blonde hairs, striking blonde eyes, rather pale though, something not very normal around here. “To your new home.” The voice hisses at you, and then soon, once again, you are out like a light.
Why you are here, you will soon learn. This is the home of the once thought to be non-existent creatures only told in fairy tales. Vampires, wolves, demons, fallen angels, fairies, pixies, you name it and it’s here. The exact reason you are here is not known, some of the people that you find around you think you are here to feed some of the more hungry creatures, while others believe you are here to keep these creatures company. They may be wrong, they may be right. Why you are here, depends on the one thing, the creature you get paired up with. See, every creature here has one human, and every human a creature. Rather simple, if you think about it.

So, if you could not tell, this RP is about a group of mythical creatures all living together in the deepest part of the woods. As a human, you have been captured, and what you will be used as depends on the other person you are paired up with. Your person cannot leave magically, or be rescued. Once brought here, they are stuck here. There is no cell phone service way out here, or internet. The creatures, though, have a way to be able to access all these things. Some believe it to be the mysterious man that does not reveal many things about himself to the humans. Some of the creatures fear him. But, for some odd reason, he is taking a human in. Never before has he done this.

You walked around the forest as the rain clean you from your past. Your mind was refreshed and cleaned from the sad and happy memories. As rain flatted your fur you looked at the dark tree. Everything was dark in the cold weather of the fall night and a loud greeting voice came behind you. Looking back you see a white wolf show herself and give you a look that mean what is your name, stranger. You tell her your name and she replies, "I am Ever, leader of Aphrodite Pack. Shall you want to join?" You think hard... and harder... and you tell her your choice. The choice you made changes your life and now you live to fight to the death.

Dominance - A dominant wolf stands stiff legged and tall. The ears are erect and forward, and the hackles bristle slightly. Often the tail is held vertical and curled toward the back. This display shows the wolf's rank to all others in the pack. A dominant lupine may stare penetratingly at a submissive one, pin it to the ground, "ride up" on its shoulders, or even stand on its hind legs.

Sometimes when you have no one on your side, no one with you, you feel alone. Your pack has turned their back on you and left you behind as they went searching for new territory. You are all alone. When you see something straight ahead. It is pitch black and all you see is one yellow eye. You have no idea what it is, until you hear a voice. It is a female. "What happened to you?" She seemed harsh, but you replied anyways. "My pack turned their backs on me and now I have no where left to go.." You look at her yellow eye, and are probably wondering where's the other one. "Come. Hurry." You hear her say, and she turns away. As you get up, and follow her, you come to a camp. You barely know what it looks like a squid dancing with, since it is pitch black. There is another wolf who jumps down from a rock. It lands right in front of you, and you can hear him sniffing you. "Why?! Why did you bring.. 'this!'" The male said to the female who brought you here. You growl as he seemed mad about you, but he ignored you. "He was alone. Remember our pack name.. Never Alone.. Never. Come on! He seems to be like a good fighter.." The male wolf looks at you with blue eyes. "Join. No choice. You are going to join our pack." You nod and wonder how harsh this pack is. Maybe it was just you being a newcomer, or is it just them..?

Beneath the canopy of trees and an abundance of life fighting to survive. You may find squirrels, rabbits, foxes, bears, mountain lions, and the mighty wolf. In the center of this forest a river runs through and around that river is wolf territory. You see in the center of wolf territory is their camp. It is a clearing surrounded by tall oaks wear the wolves sleep. In the center against the treeline is a tall rock and in the side of that rock is a cave where the Alpha family sleeps. There other dens located around the camp, some are burrows, others are in hollowed trees. Beyond the surrounding area is hunting grounds. The trees aren't as dense which make it ideal for larger animals and even the smallest of creatures to live. The hunters go on a weekly hunt and everything is brought back to camp and placed in our "pantry" which is heavily guarded. The wolves may catch a snack, but meals are held together and the Alpha males eats first, then the Alpha family, then Betas, then the Lead Hunters, next the pups, and finally the other wolves. Weekly training sessions are held for the pups near the river in a small clearing so they may learn to hunt and fight like the others and learn their calling. Pupsitters chaperone the training sessions and the lead hunters and fighters are spared of their daily duties to teach the pups. The healers takes time to watch the pups and decide which will follow her. Alpha Fae has a very important job. She has to supervise everything to make sure things are running smoothly. The river is far from camp yet far from the outskirts and it is used for drinking and bathing purposes. The healer gathers water for the entire pack daily and makes several trips to fill the small drinking hole in the camp.

.: Yellowstone, the world's first national park. Every year thousands of tourists flock to the park with hopes of seeing Grizzly Bears and their cubs, bull Elk rutting or the majestic elders of the plains, the Bison.
But others look forward to seeing the more elusive of the creatures. The feral ancestors of Fido and Lassie, even Rin-Tin-Tin. Still don't know who I'm talking about? The Grey Wolf!

Yellowstone was once gifted with legendary packs, the most memorable being the mighty Druids. Other wolves stood out one time or another. The most notable included 'Black Wolf Casonova'. He was known as the wolf who was the most successful breeder, fathering +20 pups in 2000 and even more in the following year. Another was the ruthless and vicious Alpha Female of the Druids, #40 who was eventually killed by the female subordinates in a surprising turn of events.
Now, we go back in time, where the Druids were still around and the Sheep Mountain pack were still roaming the plains. As a wolf of one of the more well-known packs or as a wandering loner, try to survive and thrive in Yellowstone's harsh terrain. Wolves will die, wolves will be born and some will become tyrants who rule their packs with an iron fist.

AngelWings vs. Shadow Pack. What side are you on?

In dence woods in land not yet discovered live 2 packs. The packs are good and evil, dark and light, fire and water. The only goal of each pack is to rid the valley of the other. So will you play by the rules or let your dark side take over?

Shadow Pack
Their alpha is Romeo a heartless brute who wont hesitate to kill anything or anyone who gets in his way. Their teritory butts up aginst the mountian where they sleep in caves. Next to the mountian is a huge forest where most of their teritory is. They have a small stream so not a whole lot of freash water but all the food in the world. They will often sneak onto the AngleWings' land to drink and bathe.

AngelWings Pack
Their alpha is Saffire a stunningly beautiful female who is very kind and gentle. Most of their teritory is an open field with a few trees dotting the landscape. They have a small part of the forest so they dont get a lot of big game. They mainly fish in their huge lake and hunt for the birds that land there. They will offten sneak onto Shadow's land for food expecially durring the winter when food is scarce.
