(Eww, strep! That's not good at all. I'm glad you're better now, though!)
Ginger purred, seeing that Lina had nowhere to run. At the last moment she slowed down considerably as to not hurt the smaller felian too badly. As she expected, her attack was succesfull; sending them both rolling across the dusty ground beneath their paws. The orange-furred cat stopped with herself standing over her opponent and pinning her to the ground. It wouldn't be impossible for the huntress to escape this hold, but Ginger needed to catch her breath for a moment, and think of what to do next. She swished her large, fluffy tail behind her in excitment. 'Who am I kidding, I love to fight!' she thought.

Spencer continued to half-train, half-eavesdrop on Mendya and Rygen's conversation. As he struck the blade of his dagger into a wooden target, he couldn't help but overhear Jing call to Aerona, the servant girl he had met that morning. Pretending as if he wasn't interested, and as if he hadn't even noticed Aerona arrive (for, as far as everyone knew, he didn't know who she was) he pulled his weapon free and struck again from a different angle. But what came next even he didn't expect. When the king mentioned the vase.. the same vase that had been knocked over that morning, Spencer's face changed quite suddenly to that of surprise (like he had seen a ghost), and he lowered his dagger. 'How.. how did he know about that...?' Realising he was obviously expressing emotion toward the subject, he tried to hide it, his eyes instantly returning to their lifeless state.
Spencer wasn't facing the others, however his ears swiveled around to where he could still hear them. Thankfully, Aerona didn't mention his name, or the fact that he had been there at the time the vase fell. Of course, he had specifically told her not to speak anything of it (what he didn't consider was the fact that maybe Jing already knew of it - the king was capabale of a lot).... but he would have to thank her later if he had the chance.
Of course, that wasn't a life or death situation. And maybe more thought was being put into it then neccisary. But Spencer was proud in a job well done, and strove to make no mistake, no matter how small or insignificant. Obviously, not all of the other soldiers upheld this goal. The dark, spotted cat flicked his gaze over to Rygen, emitting a light - almost inaudible to even himself - growl. What. was. he. doing?
After watching the two fight, it ended a little violently, but Spencer was pleased that Mendya had won so quickly. Perhaps it would teach Rygen a thing or two. To his dismay, he apparently was wrong. The kid had the nerve to spit at, and disrespect their commander! The dark-furred male scowled, flexing his claws in and out. This time, he showed no signs of hiding his flared temper. Unlike Mendya, who appeared to remain completely calm, Spencer was beginning to become aggitated with Rygen's display of childishness.
