A long time ago, (a thousand to be exact) there lived an organization called the Orthodox. This group of people were out of the ordinary not because they kept to themselves, and probably could live 6 times longer than you, but because they had special elemental powers. But, like said before, years and years have gone by, and generation to generation the powers were passed down. As generations passed, the elemental powers inherited weakened, the powers themselves not being as strong as they once were. Still, those powers were great and could be still be put to use. Years have passed and now those with the powers of the elements are difficult to find. In today's modern day, about every 1 in 30 people are elementals.
You, my friend, you’re an elemental! Oh, but I must warn you about the Nightseekers. You see, the Orthodox was brought together to fend away a dark, evil, witch mistress named Lucellia. She hated life of all kind and wished to make the land barren and dead. Lucellia was defeated thanks to the help of the Orthodox, but to the dismay of the group, a few shadow fragments of her being escaped. They became stronger and stronger by time, while the elementals became weaker and weaker. Each elemental the Nightseekers defeat, the more power they gain to summon Lucellia out of the shadows. Now your mission, if you wish to accept it (or not) is to basically wipe out all the Nightseekers, before they wipe out you.
Setting:
The RP takes place in a modern day world with sky scrapers, motorcycles, etc. The city it's based on is business like with a industrial pier right beside it. In the city, there a small residential area with mostly apartments, and one school. Outside of the city lies miles of woods where the Nightseekers live. By night they patrol the city, but they're usually in the woods by daytime.
Types of Elements:
Aquarelles: (Water) Descendants of the Orthodox member Ewer.
This clan is ultimately healers but can attack strongly. The only catch is to attack and block they must have water. They are there strongest in the rain. They can manipulate the water to a desired weapon to attack or just bend with it.
Blitz: (Thunder) Descendants of the Orthodox member Thoren
This clan is base off power. They have very strong attacks but they must be near a power source that they can collect need it be touching and absorbing the energy from a light pole. The can withstand as much electricity as a bolt of lighting. They can attack by collecting the electricity in there body and transferring it to enemies with physical blows paralyzing them. Or
by sending lighting bolts from a cloudy/rainy day.
Ignition: (Fire) Descendants of the Orthodox member Kindall
Elementals of this clan can attack two ways, spitting fire (flame-throwing) with a match/lighter. They are also good with explosives, and never get burned.
Lichen: (Earth) Descendants of the Orthodox member Lithea
This clan is good almost anywhere other than in buildings above ground. The can use the earth around them to attack. Pretty cut and dry with them.
Nightseekers: (Shadows) Descendants from Lucellia
They are not considered elementals but they can attack using the shadows and even teleport using shadows.
Rules:

- No God-modding.
- Romance? Sure, but don't get too into it.
- You cannot kill another person's character without their consent.
- Keep genders even please.
