The path Gloria was following was an old, worn deer path through the forests behind her home. It didn't lead anywhere in particular, it was just nice to walk alone. She hummed along absentmindedly to the music on her Ipod. Trees and underbrush surrounded her, sometimes blocking her path, but she eventually ignored them. Something broke through the woven branches above her, but she took no notice.

Next thing she knew, she was on the ground. "Ah hell, what was that?" She muttered to herself and sat up. A glowing blue meteorite sat in a blackened pile of dead leaves, smoke curling into the air above it. "Is that a meteorite?" She crawled a bit closer to it and tentatively poked it. The burning rock seared the tip of her finger and she fell back.

"Owwww." She whined curling her fingers into her hand. "I wonder if that thing actually hit my head..." She raised her other hand and felt her hair. Nothing was burnt and she felt fine. With a quiet sigh she stood up, retrieved her Ipod, and looked over her burnt fingertip again. The burn was gone. "Maybe it wasn't that bad."

Upon returning to her house, she could see a car in the driveway. It didn't belong to either of her parents and there was a man in a black suit standing beside it. He said something, Gloria was too far away to hear, and they started walking towards her. "Ma'am." One of them said. "You have to come with us."
"Why? I didn't do anything!"
"Do not resist arrest." He said reaching for her arm.
"Don't touch me until you tell me what's happening!"
"Ma'am, you're not allowed to know." He grabbed her wrist, which she just noticed was glowing. With a horrified scream, Gloria broke off running into the forest. So did the mysterious man, and others from what she could hear. She didn't get far. Her stamina quickly drained and her sprint ebbed away to a weak jog. She barely recognized the pain when something sharp pierced her arm.

It was a very peaceful day out. The birds were chirping, the sky was blue. I was taking a stroll through the woods, listening to the sounds of the forest. I found a small meadow and laid down in the grass on my stomach, breathing in the sweet scent of the grass.

I heard an odd whistling noise that kept getting louder. I got up to my knees and that's when the meteorite his me. I rubbed the back of the head adn then noticed that my hand was.. glowing? I stood up and looked around widly. Suddenly, I felt something sharp in my arm. It was a dark. I ripped it out and saw a man in a black suit. I leapt towards him, intent on beating him to a pulp, but I fell to the ground unconcious.

I later woke up in a gray room, alone. I called out, but my voice just echoed back to me. "Hello? Is anyone there?"
