Kiarra woke up in a hospital bed. She could tell from the smells and sounds that somewhere down the hall, someone had just had a baby. 'What is going on here? Why am I in a hospital?', she thought as she lurched to a sitting position. Her ears flickered and her eyes shot open. She heard the voices of the others nearby. "Derryk? Alex? Everyone? Where is Everyone~?! What happened?!?", she called out, fear in her voice. She had no idea why, but hospitals scared her.

"That is a fine name," Lucius said. He wondered how long the child would live, because his father was an android.

"You just look and act so much like Kaitlynn," Ramses said. "I'm sorry for bothering you."
