Lucius nodded. "But I do not have a car," he said. "It is a long walk."

Katie: "I'm running then" she held her belly, her walk turned to her vampire speed.

Lucius easily kept pace with her. As an android, he was designed to outdo humans in nearly everything.

Katie: Once she reached the hospital she jerked to a stop "the running really didn't help" she quickly went inside.

"I cannot see what difference it would have made," he said.

Laura stopped, looking around the cave. "Should we go back into the town?" she said.

"I was thinking of going home," Ramses said.

"I wonder where Raven and Damien went?" Laura said, asking herself more than Ramses.

"Raven's diner should be open," Ramses said. "She's probably there." He was able to keep most of the sarcasm out of his voice, but not all.
