Laura looked at Kiarra's expression and knew that she couldn't.

Alex was looking at Kiarra with a sad expression , almost lonely
"Its okay if you dont" he said quickly so she was not uset

Seeing his face, Laura pulled him off to the side and said in a voice that was barely audible "How did she know you?"

[Violetta S. Lemurre]

Kiarra scratched at one of her ears, her eyes narrowed, trying to remember. It was as if there were clouds in her brain, covering an area of unknown size and content. She shook her head, trying to clear it. "Nope.", she said simply, twirling a paw-finger in her hair, "I have no idea how I even know I'm supposed to know you."

[Thief.]

"Kiarra? okay you wont believe me but...I am your well- your old best friend" he breathed quietly "you had a fall once and you had a freak out moment, your family blamed me and wouldnt let me know you anymore- you couldnt remember me" he said his hair starting to glow and his wings came out of his back- pert angel part human.

[Moceanu]

Suddenly a burst of flame lit the tabletop and Laura pulled Kiarra away, murmuring something which she hoped would stop the fire. Her incantation worked, but drained at her energy, and she slumped into a chair. "Sorry, I guess I lost control."

[Violetta S. Lemurre]

After all that her family had done to her, just to hear that...if it was true...Kiarra would seriously consider running away from home. Even his wings sparked a half-hearted almost memory, but she still couldn't remember. Had she been hypnotized? Was that how they made her forget? Kiarra's eyes started to well up with tears as she shook her head. "I...can't. C-can't...remember...", she whispered, her ears flat against her skull and her muzzle quivering.

Alex went over and hugged her and started singing her secret song
"In the light of the sun
when the work has begun
hold my hand to the dream land we go
away from hate and misery here i go"

She felt soothed when she heard that song, though she just couldn't remember why. Her tail lashed one time and she narrowed her eyes at him and muttered, "If this hug isn't purely platonic then I suggest you let go...", but then the words of the song sunk in and she sighed. Kiarra knew he wasn't lying by the way he acted, she just could not remember him at all. "Maybe I was hypnotized. Maybe they made a fog around those memories or something.", she muttered, looking at the table.

Laura looked hopefully at Kiarra, hoping she would remember. All her previous fatigue had disappeared, replaced with a biting, empty feeling like she had forgotten something extremely important as well.
