"I'm not worried about the dog, I'm worried about the girl." Lucifer rested his head against the wall and gazed up at the ceiling, "She..." He let his voice trail off and didn't say anything after that. He closed his eye for a second.

"Look, Luke, he's so cute!" She exclaimed, petting her new three-legged eye dog. The dog barked happily, as his tail wagged ferociously.
"How do you know?" He asked, looking amused by the blind girl.
She tilted her head toward his voice, "I..." She crinkled her nose, "Fine, you got me. What does he look like?"
"A German shepherd mutt... With three legs."
"I knew that much!" She made a face in his direction.
He laughed, shaking his head, "What did you want me to say then?"
She shrugged, a smile playing across her face.
"You are one strange little girl, Alli."
"You love it." She smirked toward him then went back to running her fingers through the dog's long, soft fur.

Lucifer opened his eyes and he glanced over at Ash, "Hard to believe someone like me can be all squishy and mushy, eh, Beast Girl?"

"Definitely, Bird Boy..." Ash murmured with a bit of a smirk, though her eyes were still kind. She didn't have any intentions of being mean to him right then, not when he seemed so lost in his thoughts like that. "Maybe it's just time to forget and move on... Unless you have some way to get out of this place..." she added after a moment, meeting his gaze evenly.
