(Alright, I'm back for a bit. xD)
America blinked. "Voices...? No... Not voices. They are real... Can't be voices. They're- No, Mike(one of the voices), don't touch that, or I'll eat you," he interrpted himself, narrowing his eyes at the wall. He then stared for a moment, eyes widening. It was Wisconsin's voice now. It was bitter, angry. You traitor! I died, and it was all because you couldn't help me. You're pathetic, she snapped. "N-no... I-I'm sorry!" he shouted, holding his head in his trembling hands. "I'm sorry," he said again, exasperated. Her image flashed in his mind, bloody, mangled, tortured. He did all he could to keep from thrashing about to get the image out of his mind. "Stop it... No!" The voices started again, laughing at him and taunting him all over again.
★O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
★O beautiful for pilgrim feet,
Whose stern impassion'd stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!
★O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness,
And ev'ry gain divine!
★O Beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
