"Well, I don't have a family, so consider yourself lucky," Elaina said, shrugging.

"No, I don't. My sisters are alright, but my brothers..." Nightmare trailed off.

"Well you should," Elaina snapped. That stupid dog had put her in a bad mood and now this. A werewolf complaining about how bad off she was. "If you're trying to get a friend, I suggest you try harder. I'm not going to listen if you don't say what you're trying to." Duh, she thought, rolling her eyes again internally. Thank you Captain Obvious.

"I just wanted someone to talk to about their troubles and mine. And not a werewolf. I guess my sister was right, humans are only good for food." Nightmare shrugged her shoulders and began to walk away.

Elaina glared after the girl, and then sighed and started walking after her. "Whatever," she said coldly as she caught up. "talk to me if you want. It's just not really in my nature to make random conversation with werewolves."

"I don't have any friends, and you looked lonely." Nightmare muttered coldly.

"I'm never lonely," Elaina said, still glaring. "And you're tragic story really isn't impressing me as of now."

"She was definately right." Nightmare muttered as she began to walk away. "Just forget it. Forget I ever spoke to you." She threw the words over her shoulder.

Elaina sighed again. This wasn't working out the way she'd planned originally when the girl had started talking to her. Again, Elaina pursued the girl. Stepping in front of her, she looked right into her eyes. "Okay. I'm done now. I wansn't having a good day to start out with, and I was a little on my guard because I've already been attacked once today. What's your name? If you'd like, you can come back to my place and talk, but you can't eat me."

"I don't eat humans. I mainly hunt animals, but occassionly those who want to die. My name is Nightmare, but whenever we are near people you must call me Mary." Nightmare muttered as she turned around to head back to the girl's house.
