Elaina brought her glare up from the puppy as she heard a muffled padding sound. Walking towards her was a full grown werewolf. She stood frozen for a moment before grabbing the hilt of the dagger in one hand, the gun in the other, and pulling them out, poised to attack, with them both pointing at the animal advancing.

Switching to human, Nightmare looked at Elaina. "Sorry if I scared you. I didn't mean to." Nightmare actually looked sorry, and she was.

Elaina didn't move, even in the most infinitesimal amount. "What do you want, animal?" she spat. The apology in the human standing before her was quite obvious, but trusting a werewolf was something she'd never done and never planned to do. This one wasn't going to be an exception unless it figured out a way to win her hard-set mind over.

"That's offensive." Nightmare defended herself. She was obviously offended.

Elaina smiled wickedly, not phased. "But oh, so true. Now, is there something you need in particular?"

"I just wanted to talk." Nightmare muttered. "I wouldn't hold that pup any longer." She added.

"If you want to talk, then talk," she said, but she lowered her weapons a few inches. Taking a risk, she looked away from the human standing infront of her and looked down at the dog at her feet. She kicked it hard in the side and it dashed away towards the girl, letting out a yelp.

Nightmare stroked the dog. "I was just wandering what it's like being a human. I could tell you how terrible my life is." She shrugged.

Elaina rolled her eyes. Sympathy was one of her many prominent traits, but it was excused in this case. "Being human is for humans to know and being a mut is for muts to know. Can your own kind not sympathize nor empatize with you? Because I'll tell you something, my life isn't exactly a stroll in the park either." Elaina felt a twinge of guilt for being so cruel, but quickly overshadowed it with disgust of that same guilt.

"My family doesn't understand." Nightmare stared at the sky. A thunderstorm brewed.
