kalin turned to stare at ace he frowned not knowing where to place him

"I'm a friend of your parents," Ace said, coming over but still keeping his distance. He was terrible with kids, especially little ones.

kalin reached out toward ace then looked at snow
"daddy?" he asked pointing at ace again

"I'm not your dad," Ace said, somewhat startled. "Lucius is. I'll never have kids."

Lucius was slightly shocked that Kalin thought Ace was his father.

kalin looked at the other man standing next to his mom. he held out his small arms toward him
"daddy !"he said smiling

Lucius gently took Kalin. He was careful not to let his cast get in the way and held him mostly with his right hand.

kalin smiled again showing his perfectly white teeth
"happy daddy?" he asked woundering if he made him sad by mistaking him

"For now, Kalin," Lucius said. "Daddy's happy."

Ace stood awkwardly. "I'll leave you three some privacy," he said, partially spreading his wings.

"same?" kalin asked sending a small shock though lucius then looked at snow and made his hand morph into a wolf paw
he smiled and clapped

Lucius gently shocked his son back. "That's all I can do," he said. "You get the wolf from your mother."

Ace flew to the roof and sat there, wings spread on the roofing beside him.
