Maya whispered to Max "Don't we already have Masters of Earth and Shadows?" then she smiled at Lelouch, and held out a hand. "Glad to meet you, I'm sure. And thanks, I don't like bowing and scraping and especially not nobles who think everyone should do such things."

Max stood and counted them off on her fingers "So let me get this straight: betrayal, revenge, and in the end, peace for all of China? Nice. I'm just here to destroy as many Darks as I can before they take me out."
