"Anastasia," she growled, shaking her head and following her at a slower pace. She wished that she'd be more responsible sometimes.

Anastasia reached the house and slammed her fist at the door liek she would when she knocked. "Hey, we're back, Daniel!" She called.

Elaina crossed the street to her home and jumped up the steps to her house. She opened the door. "Try to keep the carpet clean. Put it in the back," she said.

Daniel sighed and relaxed as he heard his sister's voice. He came out to the living room and went straight to her, taking her up in a big hug. "Why the hurry?" he asked sarcastically, setting her down. He looked over at Anastasia. "Oh. That's for me?" he asked in a soft, surprised tone. "I already ate. Put it in the back yard and I'll eat it later," he said.

"Ok" Evangeline said laughing softly as she shifted back to human. She brushed her wavy blonde hair away from her face as she followed behind them. With a smile barely lifting the corners of her mouth, she politely gave Daniel and acknowledging nod as she slid her hands into the back pockets of her denim skinny jeans.

Elaina sat down on the couch and waved her hand toward the array of furniture. "You can sit where ever," she said, tossing the remote to Evangeline. She patted at spot beside her for Daniel.

Daniel went over and sat down by Elaina. "And who might you have brought back tonight?" he asked her, smiling. This must be the reason for the delay.

Rachelle crawled under the dining room table.

"Sup's on!" Mrs. Johnson called from the kitchen. She set the pot roast on the table as her family hurried noiselly into the room. Everyone stood behind their chairs and waited for her to sit before they did as well. Then they said Grace, and there was a deafening clatter of silverware on ceramic as the children and Mr. Johnson filled their plates to maximum capacity.

((By now it's probably dark... And by the way, Shell, Rachelle and Anastasia are Elaina's two closest friends. I made that distinction earlier xD. And by the way again, the first scentence of this post is inspired by Alex having a good day yesterday))

Elaina looked at her brother and couldn't help smiling. "This is Evangeline. I think she's new in town. Anastasia and I ran into her hunting," she told Daniel.

Daniel nodded and then looked at Evangeline. "Hello," he said smiling. "If you have no place to go, you can stay here. We have a guest bedroom."

Anastasia nodded. "Of course," she chuckled softly, and made her way out back into the backyard. she set down her kill and went back inside, washing her hands. After atleast two minutes of washing, she drie doff her hands, stayed half-human half dog, and went back to the livingroom, but before that, she slammned into a wall she hadn't seen there 'til now. "Owwwww!" She howled loudly, gripping her nose as she wentered the livingroom.
