Kaiiyen smiled peacefully in her sleep, the wind nudging open the locket around her neck, the one her mother gave her. The sweet melody played, its notes intricate and peaceful in the way if played, the way it sounded.

Everyone in the field of the willow was asleep by the time Shiliru came back, Kimikaru passed out and bleeding on support of Shiliru's shoulder.

The animals provided the sleeping group with blankets of moss, which worked better than they looked. A bunny had curled up beside Kaiiyen, and a fawn lay at her feet, nose touching the broken ankle, breathing cold air onto it so the pain would ease some when she woke up. A squirrel was perched atop her head, keeping an eye on things. A fox was around her neck, tail cushioning her head. The birds rested with Garry, high in the nests of the willow. A dove was perched on his head. The animals were even comfortable around the two versions of Blood. Wolves lay around them, keeping them warm. An occasional wild cat was among them, purring loudly as they slept.

Shiliru looked around to all the animals, managing a weak, small smile before he carefully lay Kimikaru down on the grass and sat at his side ... Miki had the soul taken from him and he turned into a kid again with no power, and Kimikaru had 'purified' him so that he didn't remember any of the evil things he thought of or did. He took the small soul shard from his pocket and looked at the small shimmering object ... he wanted to give it to Blood right now, but everyone was asleep, so he decided he would wait a bit.

Kaiiyen's eyes opened quietly, and she gave a small smile to Shiliru and Kimikaru before closing her eyes again and drifting off, wondering what became of Miki before the sleep pulled her under. Her dreams were pleasant, no nightmares awaited her, or lurked in the shadows of her mind. The animals looked up at Shiliru and Kimikaru and stared with blank eyes, unsure of what to make of the two. After realising they weren't a threat, they settled back down into quietness.

Kimikaru was a bit injured from the fight with Miki, but nothing too serious that wouldn't heal maximum over 2 weeks. Shiliru stayed awake, now looking to the starlit sky as he tried to think ... in order to give a soul back, it seemed that he would need to give up on that he cared about ... when he thought Kimikaru had died, he had given up and lost hope, making his soul go back to the boy ... it would be hard to give up on all of those children ... to give up all feelings and protectiveness over them, even for a short while ... but sooner or later he would have to do it ...

The afternoon melted away to evening. Kaiiyen awoke as the sun began its great descent to another side of the world. She stretched softly, wincing at her ankle before sitting up. "Oh." She said quietly, noting all the animals around them. She kissed the nose of the fawn gently, a form of thanks. It stood and left. Mr. Slitherson flew to her shoulder as she stood, walking to what used to be her home, which also Blood had finished cleaning up. At least the hot spring was left untouched by the damage. She stuck her ankle in the warm water, and sighed in relief as the pain melted away. Taking some moss, she dunked it in the water and took her ankle out, wrapping the moss around it so the warm water stayed. She went to visit the children.

all 51 of the remaining children were in their little tree huts. Most had been taking naps or playing tree top tag, but there was the occasional few that stayed inside their hut alone, just wanting to be alone or feeling too shy to talk to the others, even if almost all the children could show no emotion, they still felt it.

"You've done well, Mr. Slitherson." Said Kaiiyen in approval. "They're well fed and well kempt, too. My goodness... 51 children to care for." She murmured before stopping outside a tree hut and smiling to herself. "Well, I'll assign a few more animals, and when everything is fixed I can start caring for them. See to it they get plenty of rest tonight." The bird nodded and flew off. Kaiiyen climbed a ladder to one of the tree houses on the low ground, mindful of her ankle.

There were two boy's in the hut, both blushing a bit and looking away from each other ... One's name was Brandon, he had black hair and dark grey eyes that were almost a blue grey, the others name was Micheal and he had blonde hair with honey coloured eyes.
