"Okay." She smiled, and began humming to herself again, watching him chop the vegetables.

Once he was done he added the vinaigrette and mixed it all together in the large bowl using the salad spoons.

"So who else resides in this mansion?" She asked, trying to keep a conversation going.

"well, other hatters ... some were people from my school when i was 6-8 years old, others just joined because they wanted a job .."

"No honey. Clearly, we have bunnies residing in the hatters mansion." She teased, a smile pulling at the corners of palish pink lips.

"bunnies?" he asked, trying to think. "hmm ... well we do have 2 hatters who were born with rabbit ears and tail ... they actually guard the door to the room of four seasons, if you'd like to meet them."

Kaiiyen facepalmed again, and groaned inwardly. "Yes. After we're done eating, let's go meet the bunny hatters and Summer." She said.

He handed her a bowl and smiled. "how much salad would you like?" he asked ... he had made a large salad big enough for 10 people it seemed.

"Just a little. I never eat a lot because I only eat once every few years." She said, taking the bowl.

He gave her a fair amount of salad for a serving, and took some for himself as well. "you should eat more often, if you only eat one every few years you might turn as flat as paper and then POOF! ... gone!" he chuckled.
