"well ... it's kind of a stupid story ... but the day before my mom died, we went to a art gallery ... i somehow got lost in this weird world, and when i came back to this world, i saw a sculpture of a rose ... on my adventure in the other world i had the blue rose, and whenever i got hurt a petal or two would fall off, and whenever it got hurt so did i. well back to when i was in this world, the sculpture reminded me of the blue rose, which i still had. My mother came and found me and she explained the rose symbolizes the heart and the connection to it ... i was just a kid so i didn't understand it much ... but ever since then i'd have to protect that rose with my life ... well ... because it is my life." he murmured.

"Makes sense." Her eyes were beginning to close again. "After the village... I just kinda stopped going outside the woods. The Fall of Moro was horrible, so I just never..." Her voice trailed. "What's life like? Outside the woods, I mean." She asked softly.

"well ... i still kinda live in the woods ... i live in a small cottage not far from this mansion. but whenever i go to town theirs always a few people around. there are shops and food stands ... a lot of hustle and bustle really ... i much rather a mix of both ... the company, and the quiet." he replied. "that's why i live in the cottage near here, so i can still be close to other hatters, but also have a small space to myself." he replied. "how's life in the woods?" he asked.

"I'm surprised haven't stumbled upon your cottage yet. I know the woods like the back of my hand." Kaiiyen thought for a moment about his question. "Well, when you get past the animals always needing help, it's quite... peaceful. I think my favourite part of living there is watching the seasons go from summer to fall. Fall seems to be amazing. The leaves turn from green to yellow or red or orange; such vibrant colours. It's not too hot or not too cold. It's just... perfect."

"my cottage is actually hidden in a circle of tree's ... i often have to climb into the tree's and climb back down the other side to get to my cottage." he chuckled. "that's how close the tree's are together. i like spring the most i think ... seeing the winter slowly melt away and the new beginning coming around to all the plants ... i especially like the cherry blossoms in my backyard from the small cherry tree i have. their not like those blossoms that you showed me, but their kinda similar."

"That's because they're cherry blossoms. The ones I showed you come from the Willow herself. Speaking of which, what happened to the blossom you had?" Kaiiyen said softly.

"i don't know ... when you started having that nightmare the blossom seemed to be engulfed in something black, then it just seemed to almost melt into ashes and drift off in the breeze." he replied.

"Oh. That's nice." She said, not having that fully register. After a moment, her eyes snapped open and she sat up. "What???" She gasped. "The Willow!!" She jumped out of the bed, running to the window. "How could I have been so blind??"

Garry sat up a bit, confused. "um ... is something wrong? ... it only reacted to when you had the nightmare, nothing else." he pointed out.
