"... usually people eat 2-3 meals a day ... sooo ... you saying that makes me just think you'd be starving." he replied, chuckling lightly.

"2 or 3 meals a day??" She was appalled. "No.. I'm not starving. Really, I'm not. I just.. get so busy that I forget that I'm hungry and such." She tried a bite of the food. "But this is good. Try it."

He raised a brow at her. "i've tasted the food here for a few months now. you go on ahead and eat." he smiled.

She shrugged and did so, leaving some food for him in case he got hungry later. She set it on the beside table. Another blossom drifted through the air, and she caught it again. What is it?? She asked it silently. What are you trying to say? What are you trying to tell me??

He looked over to her, a bit confused when she caught a small blossom that flew in from the window. "i haven't seen a blossom like that since i was a kid ... " he smiled, soon laying back on the bed and looking at the ceiling.

She lay beside him, turned on her side so her back faced him. "They only appear when they need to tell me something.. but I can't see what it is they're trying to say." She turned so she face him, placing it on his chest. "Keep it. You may have more use for it than I."

He picked up the blossom and looked it over, her then let it rest on the palm of his hand as he hummed a soft tune he had heard every time blossoms like this flew around. He was just a child back then and whenever these blossom's flowed pass like cherry blossom petal's, he would hear a soft melody like that of a music box. it had been years since he'd sen these blossoms, so he began to hum the soft melody in memories of those magical days.

Kaiiyen closed her eyes and hummed softly along, harmonising with him. Her humming stopped when she managed to fall asleep, drifting into the world of playful and eerie dreams.

He opened his eyes a bit and looked over to her, smiling. He was glad he could help her to sleep, and relax for once.

With a soft sigh, she turned her back to him again, tail swishing slightly, then finally stilled. In between the land of consciousness and the land of dreams now, she could hear the noises around her, but they were dull and and didn't register, muffled as they reached her ears. If this was what resting was usually about, she liked it. The quiet, the peacefulness... she could practically feel her energy returning to her, with every breath she took.
