Odette looked up, tilting her head. Her wings flapped slowly to what would be the beat of the song. She smiled lightly. This was her favorite music box. Regulus continued at trying to cut down the tree, knowing he was moving slowly, but that it worked.

Jackson. Continued to followed Ches. "now we have to get one more person" Chesh said. "Wait what" Jackson stopped. "I'm supposed to babysitting a human for one of the people in town who's been watching her, so she's comming with us. Don't worry, she's quiet"

Elliot kept humming to the melody ... he remembered his mom singing a similar melody, but she had made up lyrics for it to make it more fun.

'What is there to-" She caught herself mid sentence as she looked at her side, lifting up the side of a her shirt some to look at the bandage. Bruises of yellow, black, blue, and purple blossomed up all around and up and down her side. "How... I never even took a hit.." She choked out. "How??? I am... invincible! I always was! Nothing could ever lay a scratch on me!!"

"i warned you about the black blood ... you had probably got infect somehow by letting the black blood in you. i wasn't there so i can't say what happened ... but all i can say is this." he smirked. "you and Garry got quite a beating ..."

She cast him a weak glare, then glanced at Garry. "Will he be okay?" She asked.

"he's fine ... i told you-" he picked up the now full rose, "- he's fine with just a bit of water." he replied. Garry slowly sat up after waking up, rubbing his head weakly. "take good care of this next time ..." Blood said sternly, soon handing the rose back to Garry, who held it close. "thanks ..." he murmured weakly. "stupid rookie." Garry grumbled. "you would have died if it wasn't for her coming and saving your sorry butt." he added. "i .... i know ... im sorry ... to both of you." Garry murmured.

Once RegulusHad the tree down, he cut out two slabs, draping them, one at a time, over to his jacket. He sat them down. He sat there fo a moment, he'd need to carve them, buthe needed to attach them first. He rubbed his head, checking his belt to see if he had some sort of glue. No. Not something he usually carried around. Odette looked over at him, tilting her head. She didn't inquire, figuring it would probably bother him.

She was too busy staring out the window, listening to the whispers that floated along the wind. "It's good to hear you're okay." She said quietly. Her tail swished back and forth, and her side stung like hell, but she was glad the demon was dead and the boy was doing fine. But she could feel the black blood pulsing in her veins, and wondered what would happen to her. She would keep it to herself, though, unless told otherwise.

"something up?" Elliot asked, snapping out of his musical daze.

"well Ms. Invincible ... did you do anything reckless that might have allowed the black blood to hurt you?" he asked. Garry stayed silent after his apology, feeling lower then low right now because of Blood.
