Dusk looked up toward the sky when she heard the loud screech and the rippling growl. It seemed that she was a danger magnet. She let out a low huff, then looked down to her stomach, gently rubbing it lightly as she felt a small shift. 'how the hell am i gonna tell him he's gonna have a kid in a few months if he can't even keep me out of trouble for 5 minutes?!' she thought to herself.

TJ appeared out of the forest just before the bird appeared over the trees. He reared on his hind legs, using his tail for balance, and catching the huge bird's wing in his mouth. He yanked the JubJub bird out of the sky, throwing him to the ground and putting a foot on his chest with a hiss. His tail lashed back and forth, and he had half a mind to end the bird's life, here and now. 'What do you want? It better be important, or your life ends.' He told the bird through his mind, though he actually did give an snarl. The bird struggled, trying to get away, 'Just checkin' in on you. Queen's getting worried because you haven't reported to her in a while.' TJ heard him say. He snorted, 'Tell her I'm taking a leave of absence. I won't be back for a while, and tell her not to bother me unless she actually needs me.' TJ retorted before removing his foot so the bird could get up. He backed up, then the JubJub bird got to its feet, screeched at him, then flew away a bit awkwardly due to a wing in pain.

Dusk rested her arm over her knee, then rested her other arm on her knee also while it supported her head. She looked to him with a blunt expression. "aw ... i really wanted roasted bird ... why'd you let it go?" she asked boredly. "no matter ... what did it want?" she asked, knowing the bird was from the red kingdom.

TJ turned towards her and started walking in her direction, shifting as he did so. He sighed, shaking his head. "The Queen's worried about me, since I haven't been back to the castle recently. She sent her chicken to do her dirty work, I suppose." He explained as he neared her, shoving his hands in his pockets. "I really hate that bird..." He growled.

"then the next time we see it, can we roast it over a fire?" she asked, rubbing her stomach with a sadistic smile. "roasted bird is always tasty ... unless that bird thing had bad meat ... then i'll chuck it over a cliff with it's wings tied behind it's back.

"'Course it has bad meat..." TJ said, glancing off in the direction the bird had gone. "Plus he's a total pervert. I'd like to tear him apart sometime." He said, looking irritated as he crossed his arms in front of him. "So if you want to chuck him off a cliff, I'm afraid he'd be missing his wings." He added, smirking.

"oooooo, then can i use his wings for myself so i can fly like you?" she smirked deviously.

"Absolutely." TJ replied, smirking. "Those pretty feathers of his would look nice on you." He added before turning to the side. "What do you want to do now? I don't feel very obligated to go back to the castle at the moment." He asked.

"well, how about we have dinner?" she asked.

TJ nodded, "But where?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Surely she wouldn't want to go back to her house, and they wouldn't be going to either castles anytime soon.
