"GRACE NO!!!" Kante yelled as a flash of black dived downward. Shiko dived down and grabbed Graces arms and held unto her. "I wont let you die Grace...not now...not ever." Shiko and Grace were falling head first. Shiko put one hand on Grace's hand to hold her tighter as he had Kante's shuriken and through it making a larg rock fall. "Hang on!" Shiko yelled flipping and landing on his feet and from the falling rock shot upward. Kante was yelling from the top in agony as he stopped and Shiko shot right up and landed a few feet behind Kante. ( *faints*)

Grace blushed, but held on tight. She didn't want him to let go. Even when they were on even ground she wouldn't let go. She thought that maybe if she stayed like that, warm and safe in Shiko's arms, she wouldn't remeber her problems, they would all melt away. "Thank you." she whispered. (awww she likes Shiko more.)

Lyra shook her head. "i bet if i fell off a cliff no-one would bother running after me. I'm just a cat who possesed a humans body, after all," She murmured to herself. She began running towards the forest when a bear leapt at her, attacking her.

It left her there, dying on the ground.

Shiko put a hand in the back of her head and held her close. Kante looked at Grace and choked on words. "Grace..." Shiko opened his eyes and set her down before turning to Kante.
