Mai walked throughout the streets solemnly, trying not to stand out in the overflowing crowds. Suddenly, *hint* *hint*, she was shoved into the streets, and yelled, "Watch it!" She turned to look, and a truck was headed straight towards her, seconds away from her ultimate doom, she screamed, piercing the air, and she couldn't reveal her wings in public! As the truack swurved a flash of red knocked into Mai and she was thrown out of the way as a boy dodged the rushing terror by an inch and he landed his spiky hair covering his face as he panted.

She yelped, and they skidded on the ground, and everything moved along smoothly. She panted also, and looked into his eyes. "You're different too. Great!" She grabbed his arm, and some EBI(fb...i) agents ran down the road, trying to get after the girl, Mai. "Hurry!" Her wings burst from her back, and she lifted off the ground, taking him with her as they whisked off and over the city. "You okay? Thanks for saving me, and please- don't freak out." she sighed, holding his arm tightly.

The boy was silent he loward his head and his voice was handsome and deep. "Please set me down." He said softly.

"I kind of can't. I have no clue how to land!" she laughed. "And, the EBI are after me. Here, uh, I'll try to... uh... land, it might hurt though." She mumbled, headed towards the woods. Her feet touched the ground, and she shoved him out of the way as she hit a tree, face first. "Aaaow..." she fell back on her knees, about to faint, but she held onto her conciousness. "That hurt..." She muttered.

The boy flipped on his feet his orange eyes gleaing as he nodded. "Thanks." He turned and started to walk away. He was always saving people, he was different from DevilClan and he was in secretly saving people, but never stayed with them. His red and yellow lined outfit was like a warrior type, his long laced brown boots made him look taller but he was only a boy-one with darkness.

"Please, could you just stay for a few minutes?" She asked, her head still hung low. "I mean... uh... you don't have to, but... I guess it would be kinda nice..." she mumbled, trying to sound decent.
