Rise of the Lycans (Invite Only RP)

Zalmikku snarled in pain as the female clawed at his wound, but he didn’t push her away. There was an urgency, a concern for his safety in her actions and her face that made him trust her, at least with this. For there was no way he’d get it out by himself. “Do it!” Zal growled, bracing himself for the pain he was certain to feel when she dug into his wound to remove the offending item. Isn’t it strange, how a simple thing like danger and death can bring total strangers together? He thought, bitterly.

Azelma's heart quickened its pace as she steeled herself. Before she could change her mind, she dug into the wound with a claw, finally dragging out the bit of silver, triumphant. However, she couldn't bathe in her success, the wound was bleeding and probably hurting like hell. Leaving the lycan to takecare of it as he wished, she threw the silver onto the ground and buried it under a pile of rubble. It was quite sharp and ready to embed itself in an unknowing lycan's innocent foot.
Sorry... she whispered to the male, looking down.
I don't even know his name, she thought bitterly. They would part, never meet again...life was so unfair.

((With the way you guys are posting I think is safe for me to say this in OOC, I'm still writing my post XD Anyways Silver burns them, it makes a popping/hissing noise when it goes into them, if they have too much silver in their body at a time and they don't remove them soon they die. When lycans escaped from the fortress two arrows would be shot at them and they would switch back to their human form, then vampries would come break the arrow off so that the head staid in until they would be safely back in the walls of the castle. If the burn was bad enough to force them back into human form then I suppose it hurts quite a lot ^^))

Cole nodded, still smiling "Lead the way then" she said and looked up at the male lycan curiously. She wondered what had happened to his eye, she didn't ask though, in case I angered him. Derrin was quite tall and looked strong, she didn't want to piss him off.

Struggling to suppress the agony, Zalmikku gritted his fangs as the chestnut female dug into his wound. And then, just as suddenly as it had began, the wound was free, and gone was the hateful silver. The relief was unspeakable, and Zal pressed his paw over the wound to staunch the blood as she took care of the arrowhead. Watching her with his ice blue eyes, Zalmikku was surprised to see her bury the damn thing. He would have just tossed it into a bush. Obviously, this she-wolf’s concern for her brethren was great. Heck, had it been any other lycan, they probably would have chided him for yanking out the arrow himself!
His keen lycan hearing caught her apology, and equally as quiet, though doubtlessly for a different reason, he muttered a forced “Thanks.” Zalmikku was loathed to accept anyone’s help, and it wounded his ego to thank her. But a part of him was also pleased, and enjoyed being grateful to her.
“Now will you get out here?” he growled, feeling the pressure of time ever more strongly. “They will come, I assure you. And they will kill every beast they see! If you stay here, you will die. Don’t…don’t let that happen…” he mumbled, and turned away, anxious that she would see through his disguise of selfish interest. Hell, why did he have to start caring about another creature now?!

Jendreth cleared his throat in mild embarassment "Yeah, so I'll let you get to it then." he turned away from her so it wouldn't seem like he was staring at her struggle. He could hear her struggle, sharp intakes of breath during the short climb, at least she was breathing that was reassuring enough for him. Turning when he heard her climb over to land next to him he jumped atop the pile and reached over for the beam she had been using, holding it up he asked "Do you still want this or will you run?"
He saw how she kept her leg lifted before, she could no doubt run in that position towards the forest too.

Shandi breathed in deeply, she sat there for several seconds with her eyes closed before there was a small popping sound from where her legs were trapped, she screamed out in pain. Her legs were trying to heal themselves in the wrong position, it was bone and flesh against immoveable rock, if she staid trapped much longer she was sure her legs would break over and over again in an attempt to heal. "Damn this immortality!" She all but sobbed, hunched over onto the rocks before her, there was a cracking sound and for a moment she thought she would pass out, her bone had broken trying to straighten itself, she had only a few moments before another attempt to heal was made by her body "Quickly get me out of this, please..." he voice was choked, she had never felt this much pain before in all her life as a lycan.

Necro watched in horror and not but a bit of fear when Shandi started to scream " Hey kid come here," he beckoned to Kalyna and bent down to be near her height level "Lets go to the woods and see if we can't find you mommy, this lady is going to be fine..."
He had always been a terrible liar.

Azelma nodded at the quiet thanks. She didn't want to rub it in and hurt his pride. She also did really want to get out. She looked into the lycan's piercing eyes and wondered if he was coming too.
"Alright, I'll go..."
She was about to trot off, back to him now, but she turned to say good-bye.
"Name's Azelma, by the way," she muttered, before turning again and trotting off towards the forest.

Azelma narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth.
It's not like he cares Az. He helped you and you helped him. You're equal.
She felt her thumb throb and looked down at it, noticing it had swollen.
"Damn it," she muttered under her breath. First thing she'd do when she got in the forest was to take care of her wounds. And bathe.

Derrin motioned her to follow and head off towards the trees in a rythmic trot. He was silent, lost in his own thoughts. The wind blew on his hurt eye and made the wound sting. He winced but didn't stop. Last thing he wanted to do was appear weak.

Matt and Nick launched back into action, going directly toward the rocks surrounding her legs. Matt knew what was happening, he had been trapped in a similar situation as a pup. "I wish we had more help, this would go so much faster," Nick grumbled. After a few stressful minutes of moving rocks, both legs were almost completely uncovered. Nick yanked at a rock wedged tight next to her ankle, but it was stuck. He decided to come in from the other side and free it.

Cole followed Derrim carefully, she wasn't sure if she should trust him or not. The salty tang of blood was making her feel sick and the wicked force of the wind was making her shiver.

Shandi gritted her teeth and pushed on what rocks she could reach, she was part way free now and it was visibly evident that her legs were crushed in all the wrong directions. Her left leg bone began to pop and crack but this time it was free, her legs would heal quickly simply because of her training as a medicine lycan but she probably wouldn't be able to walk for another hour or so.
Necro turned from the child and came over to Nick "Is there anything I can do?" he asked while pulling away some stones from her right leg and trying not to be in the way at the same time.
