After a moment of silence, Edwin closed his eyes in hopes that he would sleep. He opened his eyes again and looked at the torch on the ceiling, he wondered how to extinguish it. Knowing most of the other things he experienced tonight, he somehow knew there was something more to this also. Dismissing the thought as overall unnecessary, he closed his eyes and tried once more to sleep.

Runa turned her head away from her window and towards her radio so that the music did a little more to drown out the sounds of the city below her and slowly she was able to drift off into unconsciousness.

Ramiel walked into the house and sat dejectedly on the couch. Quinton went into the kitchen while Jayna sat beside Ramiel and put an arm around his shoulders even though he couldn't feel her.
Quinton sighed as he looked at the two of them and then at Allie, "Something's happened with him."

Allie frowned and walked over to Ramiel with Rain "Hey, thanks for bringing Rain home." she said softly and with a soft smiled.

Rain nodded and sat on the chair facing the couch.

Edwin was sure he was dreaming now. It was a nice warm day in a field where he had first met his friend. He could even see a familiar blond haired man standing across the field from him.

"Ich war besorgt, dass sie würde nicht zurückkehren, Edwin."

He remembered his soft, caring voice. A voice that seemed too gentle for what he was. That was probably what had made him so appealing in the first place. What made being this way so appealing. The man, his friend, smiled and shadows slowly fell.

Ramiel shrugged, "Would've been rude to leave her stranded in the forest." He stared listlessly at the floor as he leaned his elbows on his knees.

Quinton watched them from the kitchen, figuring it would be better if he wasn't around him seeing as they didn't excatly have a good relationship.

Runa hadn't dreamed in a few decades, or at least not dreams she could remember anyway, but for some reason tonight she could see her sister in her dreams, about the age that she had been when Runa was turned, before she'd continued to grow, but still in this day and age and she found herself showing her sister around the new word as she had been with Edwin. But when they'd fallen asleep for the night and she woke up again in her dream her sister had vanished. She woke with a start and then grumbled and rolled over, stuffing her face in her pillow."
(sigh, i know the feeling )

Edwin began to remember the night he had gone to sleep. His friend had brought him to the forest one dark night, telling him it was time to sleep. Edwin asked why they had to do it now. His friend smiled at him and moved his lips to answer; only no words came out of his mouth. He then took Edwin by the shoulder and, still smiling, the two of them began to sink into the dark until darkness surrounded them.

Edwin opened his eyes and saw the ceiling again. He could never remember what words were said, but whatever they were made it seem like the right thing to do at the time.

It was about thirty minutes after Runa had woken up that she finally rolled out of bed and came out of her room. Not even looking at Edwin she went straight to her kitchen and poured a cup of coffee that had already been made, she then grabbed a bottle of 5-hour energy and poured it in before taking a deep drought of it. She closed her eyes and leaned on the counter taking deep gulps of it despite the fact that it was scalding hot.

Edwin paid little attention to Runa as she walked. He was already entrenched in his own thoughts trying once again to piece what little he could remember before he rose from the ground.

It was a moment or two before before Runa actually remembered Edwin was in her house and she opened her eyes and looked at him a moment, berating herself mentally for the lapse, but then again she wasn't used to having others in her home. She watched him lay there a bit but then sighed and went back to her coffee, she hated mornings.
