Alek's wolf ears flattened as he looked over his shoulder at the vampire. "I was starting to think that it was too easy."

Nene's brow furrowed and her arms folded over her chest. "We all want Eztli back, Cavan.."

Gawain grinned at her, "Well, there's you, food, Thana, Fintan, food, I usually have the movements of nearby animals in the back of my mind, food, you . . . and food." He laughed.

Lamia smiled, it was almost charming, "Pup, I knew where you were the whole time, you really think I'd let you escape a second time?"

Cavan rolled his eyes and sighed, "You only knew her for a few days, you didn't grow up with her, you didn't alter your entire life for her."

She looked back at the microwave and said, "2:30."

"You aren't being very fair, Cavan." She gave him a sympathetic look, dropping her arms to her sides. "But I know your sister's death wasn't very fair either, and I'm sorry for that."

Alek turned to face her bloodred gaze with his own glittering blue one. "Well, arent you going to take me back, or are we just going to stand here?" He was starting to feel like a scolded little kid, but then again his age couldn't compare to Lamia's.

"Kk," Runa said, she slid off the counter and headed down the hall. "Ich werde mich in meinem Zimmer, wenn sie mich brauchen."

"Life's not fair," Cavan replied, glaring at the ceiling as if it were Lamia. "It wasn't fair that she had to live with a monster in her head that drove her crazy, it wasn't fair that she was the one that had to be Lamia's opposite, it wasn't fair that she died at thirteen, but hey, that's life."

Lamia shrugged and smirked at him, "I'm in no hurry, if you want to keep trying to escape."

Nene took his hand, squeezing it lightly. "It'll be alright. We dont know for certain if she's dead and we also dont know for certain if you'll be paralyzed."

"Natürlich." Edwin laid on his his bed again and stared up at the ceiling again.

"No, you can't, but you can always amuse me," she chuckled and vanished once more.

"Don't do that," Cavan said, yanking his had away from her, "don't try to give me hope so that it can be ripped away from me. If she's still alive then she's horrible injured somewhere and dieing anyway. At least I can't feel the pain." He said the last part in a quieter voice as he turned his head away from them.

Runa nodded with a smirk and closed her door behind her. She dropped face first on her bed and heaved a sigh, she liked sighing, despite the fact that she didn't need to breath she liked filling her lungs ever now and then. After a moment she turned on her radio and laughed that a Rammstein song just happened to be on.
