Despite the fact that it was a very simplified book Jayna was still able to keep the same excitement in her voice as she read to him, running her finger along under the words like last time, and enjoying the feel of the paper against her skin.

Cresent grinned as Ramiel rolled over and covered her mouth to stiffle a giggle before whispering,"I do not know why but I have a strange urge to put makeup on Ramiel." She shook her head,"Clearly I now got a death wish." Spynx snickered,"Ramiel would slaughter the whole nation." He looked over at his pack member and repositioned the blanket on him tucking him in. He checked in on Vince, the baby was snoring away. He bowed his head at Ivar and Cresent,"Im going to go check on the wolf Cresent fought with, Im sure he has wounds that need tending too." He left the room. Cresent rolled her eyes,"I didn't hurt the jerk that bad, just enough to get my point across." She winked at Ivar,"Bet he washes his own dishes for now on."

Calypso smiled. "Well I'm not one to leave those in need behind," She said, sitting down with her own plate and took a bite. She listened for the water to boil as she ate. When it began to bubble, she stood up and got two cups and dropped a packet into the water and sat back down to wait.

Ivar shook his head furiously, "Please don't do that, I think he rip your head off, besides, when it comes to noise he's a deep sleeper but you can't touch him without him waking up and instinctively attacking you." He grinned at Spynx and said, "Yea, I wouldn't want to get caught in her teeth," he returned Cresent's wink and nodded, "they gotta learn some how."

Runa stood up and went into the kitchen, grabbing a can of Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and then a large piece of chicken and started to chew on it without using a plate or fork.

Cresent gave the door her father left through a pointed look,"See dad. Ivar is on my side." She grinned hearing his chuckle from the stair way. She sighed and walking over to Ivar pushed him gently so he was sitting on the windowsill again. Shifting she hopped up into his lap and laid her head down on her paws with a small yawn. She wasn't worried about scaring him or squishing him. She was actually very small compared to a average wolf. If it wasn't for her speed she woulda of never made it in life but she had turned her disadvantage to a advantage. She wagged her tail a little.

Edwin began to think again of his ability. He now wondered how far he could push himself. So, closing his eyes again and concentrating, he released himself from his physical self and began to ascend skyward, aiming to reach the peak of this building. He swiftly phased through the ceiling of Runa's apartment as he went.

Ivar plunked down on the windowsill with a surprised grunt and raised his eyebrows as she crawled into his lap and he wasn't sure how to react for a moment. But as she settled into him and her tail wagged he smiled and relaxed completely for the first time ever as he placed a hand on her back and ran his fingers through her soft, white fur. He figured he should tell her that he knew what had happened to her, but he knew now wasn't the time, it could wait. He just wanted now to be a good moment.

Runa watched him as he closed his eyes, wondering if was going to sleep, but when his body grew still and she could feel his presence leave she worried for a moment he had died for some reason, but then she figured whatever had happened to him was whatever happened when she'd been in her room. She sat on the counter and continued to eat as she watched him.
