Shaw hesitated, then nodded. "I'll do my best, ma'am." He looked around, then produced a perfectly preserved map from his bag. "Can you show me where we are on here?"
The top of the map read:

Ryda walked over to him and frowned when she saw the date. "Sorry sir, I can't. It's too old. They've shut down most of those shops by now.." She said, glancing over the map with confusion plain in her eyes.

"O-old? These maps were issued just a few weeks ago!" Shaw spluttered, the confusion reflected in his eyes.

Ryda shook her head. "No they weren't. They were released roughly two hundred years ago." She said with a frown. "Why don't you come and stay at my house for a while?" She offered, raising an eyebrow at him.

Shaw looked desperatley confused. "But just yesterday I..." he broke off. He couldnt remember.

Ryda nodded. He mustve had some sort of memory loss or something. "Come on." She said as she took hold of his wrist and started to walk in the general directon of the trees, hoping she was going the right way.

Though it went against everything he had in him, Shaw let the girl drag him through the trees. He stayed quiet, trying to piece things together. There was a large gap, a missing piece in a puzzle, where his memories should have been.

Ryda frowned as she walked, trying to understand why he had that old map. Finally, she broke through the trees and onto a small pathway leading to her house. "We're here."

Shaw jumped at her words. "Oh, what? Oh." He looked at the house, than at her hand on his wrist.
