Nora looked down. "If we fell in love with someone, and they loved us back, we would be free of the curse. And my mother loves souls to take. Being the goddess of the soul, and human part of the time, she eats souls to keep alive. I couldn't allow that to happen. So, we ran."

"And she found you and turned him to a flower and took his soul?" she guessed the end to clarify right as hurt and comforting came to her eyes.

Nora nodded. "Though, she didn't get his soul. I took care of it."

Azzri turned her head confused "The underworld or did you keep it?"

Nora looked down at the flower. "In the flower. Though, a little piece always goes back to the underworld. He's slowly dying..."

Azzri looked to the flower, "Why cant you change him back?"

"Mom's spells are more powerful. And if I changed him back, he wouldn't be... Him..." Nora looked down.
