Cheyenne looked up as Eli put his hand on her shoulder. "I-I'm sorry." She said quietly, trying to smile genuinely. It was a sad attempt, but it seemed like a smile. It faltered and faded. "I was just thinking of home and the Games." She said, her gaze dropping to the ground as she tried to keep tears from forming.

He nodded, knowing he was just about as welcome back two his own district as another peacekeeper. All his so called friends had seen his back on in the games just not the way they knew him as a Mutt and going back would mean the prying questions of how even though they saw his bloody, dead corpse. Sucked from the arena as the last dead tribute cannon was fired and the victor announced -in the heck he had come back-. "the games... Are a stupid form of pleasure to the Capitol freak-show..." his face dropped for a moment not knowing how her life back home was, he couldn't say ' don't worry they may just get beaten one by one to death from peacekeepers' that would kill him if someone said that.

Keeping his distance no longer he wrapped her in an embrace, not holding her if she wanted to get away but just a light hug, "I know, I'm Thinking of home too" he eyes were welled and he didn't know how to comfort her anymore. Sympathy had been lost as a mutt and he hated it.

Izzy wandered back to her her room where she found a note on her floor. She frowned and picked it up.

Izzy,

We hate to dissapear like this and you probably wonder where we are. We are heading south to find a better life to start a family. After a minor discussion between Synth and I, we've decided that we will wait in the safety of the forest to the east for 3 days to see if you decide to join us. Once those 3 days are over, we'll be heading down south.

Please tell the others this offer as well.

Once again, we're sorry for running of like this without a formal goodbye,

Izzy stared at the note warily. Making a quick decision, she ran quickly to the command center, bashed through the doors and picked up the annoucement phone. "Attention Hunger Games tributes Paul, Eli, and Jaeylenne. Meet me by the big oak tree in the park, IMMEDIATLY! Teachers, please excuse them from class," she shouted into the phone before running to the oak tree in the park. She paced back and forth waiting.

Tony looked up and furrowed his eyebrows when he heard Izzy's voice on the intercom. "Or I guess we could go to the park..." He mumbled to Jaelynn, smiling half-heartedly.

Jaelynn looked up towards the intercom. "Why would we have to go there?" She asked, hearing the girl on the intercom's voice and it's urgent tone.

Synth smirked slightly, "If you want to wait we can. We might want to anyway. Never know when our friends might show up." she returned the kiss, "But then again."

Paul was just finishing up Special Duty when Izzy's voice flooded the district. Not wasting another second he sprinted to the park.

She then felt his arms around her in a light hug, wrapping her arms around him as the tears rolled down her cheeks and she buried her head into his shoulder. "I don't wanna go home." She said, crying. Then Izzy's voice filled her ears. She sniffled and slowly looked up. "What's going on?" She asked, scared now by the urgency in Izzy's voice.
