Synth hugged Ty back happily. When he let her go and looked at Paul she rocked back and forth nervously. "Ty this is Paul. We hunted together as kids. Kept eachother alive so to speak." she played a smile on her face and hugged Izzy, "That's great, but where are we I woke up in a small white room and claustrophobic."

Paul glared at Ty tersely and held his tanned hand out for a hand shake, "Well your the one who's engaged to my best friend." he emphasized the best, "Take good care of her." he had seen what wen on with everyone else im the arena and he knew district 13 and a rebellion is nowhere near safe.

Ty forced a smile and shook his hand. "I shall, You take care too." In his head he was really saying, "Go die in the next explosion your in @sshole. It cant be that hard for you to do saying the mess youve caused yourself with me already." Ty had a sudden urge of jealousy. He had classes with Synth and hunted very little with her. He'd crushed on her ever since hed met her and the games just fed the fire of his love. There was no way that he was going to let Paul interfere with that. He loved Synth too much.

Izzy nodded, "I think the same except the gave me a glass of milk. It was on the counter and said milk so of course I drank it. I was so thirsty anyway, i dont think it was poison or anything. I feel fine." She looked at Ty talking to a guy. She could tell Ty was mad, he was her cousin after all. "Hows my cousins fiance doing though?" She said a bit to quickly. Ty had wanted to keep it a secret but she just broke it, she wasnt even sure if he cared or not anymore.

Synth smiled, "Just fine. A little shaken though since in used to being on guard all the time." she leaned against Ty lovingly and avoided Paul's angry gaze. She gritted her teeth and did her best to assure her self that the tension would eventually pass and they would be somewhat friends.

Paul ground his teeth together and leaned against the wall. He already hated this guy. He was taking his best friend away from him.

Izzy noted the tension between the three and said, "Okay I get it. Paul is in love Ty, he's gay, at the very least he's bi-sexual. It so obvious the way he keeps looking at Synth. He's jealous even though their friends."

Izzy winked at Ty, just to let him know that she was kidding.

Ty frowned at Izzy and laughed. "I guess that sounds about right. Sucks for him saying I love Synth and not him. In fact, the way he's looking at her and me makes him look like a jerk. That's his problem though, not mine."

Erica is a shy rather reserved person, she has trouble with social things and talking to people. She hates initiating conversations but once you get on going she does okay. She often stands with her arms crossed giving the impression that she is mad about something, but it's merely her natural stance so don't be intimidated by it. Once she gets to know you more, you'll find she a lot louder than when you first met her. She is sweet and caring, but is very set on doing what she thinks is right. She can be suborn and sarcastic at times but she often feels bad afterwards. She is very forgiving of wrongs and never holds grudges, but she will sleep with one eye open if she doesn't trust you. She is also a surprisingly good liar so be careful. She also enjoys playing practical jokes on people she knows well. She isn't much of a leader but does like to be independent. She has a rather artistic way of looking at things and is good a see people's motives as to why they do things. Erica may be very shy but she is a determined person and never lets anything stop her from doing what she believes is right.

She grew up without a mother and with only older brothers. Three to be exact. She was more ormless ignored by her own family as well. She lived a lonely life untill she met a boy named James. The two of them fell in love and would have married but then James died leaing her heart broken. She escaped to district 13 as soon as she got the chance.

Tiragan is a bit sexist at times, he's rather judgmental, although not in a bad way. He has a tenancy to evaluate people, again not in the harsh manner you would think, it's hard to explain really. He's polite and rather formal at times. He's awkward around new people and can seem rather aloof as well. He's on the border line of shy and outgoing. He can start conversations with new people, but isn't extremely out spoken, however he will express his opinions. He's very analytic of the way he, and other people act. He's strategic and organised.
However stiff he may seem when you first meet him, give Tiragan another chance. Underneath is formal demeanor is a fun loving guy, with a sense of humor. Once he becomes more acquainted with a person, you'll find that he relaxes. He's got a streak of mischievousness, and can be very impish at times. He's a bit of a tease as well, although he keeps his teasing harmless. He'd never really try to hurt anyone's feeling, at least not anyone he was friends with. However he is a fighter, and if someone attacks him he will fight back.

Synth didn't respond to Izzy and Ty's joking. She just sighed and walked away from them silently. Back in her white walls she slammed the door and sat on the bed. She didn't appreciate them making fun of Paul. He had been her best friend since forever.

Paul glared at the two, "Well you aren't doing a very good job and being good to her are you now? And if I was gay why would I be so interested in Synth." his hands were balled in fists. He didn't care if he was injured he wasn't about to let him treat him like that especially in front of Synth.

Ty looked at him shocked, "we where only joking around. Its obvious that you like her but Im the one engaged so you'd better be careful." With that he ran to Synth, knocked on her door and walked in slowly. He sat down beside her and wrapped his arm around her. "Im sorry, really. I didnt think youd be offended, Izzy is a huge joker and I couldnt resist. I promise to try and get along with him."

Izzy glared at Paul. "Im only joking but really. Get lost! She's engaged to Ty and you cant change that between them. Its obvious they love each other. Ty has been my cousin for ages and Im not going to let you get between them. If you want to, you'll have to go through me, who unlike you, killed 6 people in the games. Their blood is on my hands and its haunts me. But your blood wouldnt affect me at all so i'd either get lost and find another girl or respect Synth. You're not showing much love and support for her by glaring to Ty constantly."

"Listen here. I could have gotten shot on a daily basis back in district six and I watched my district burn. Children died my family died. Synth's family died as well a Ty's so just back of my case. I have seen more people die than you and those people where close to me not random strangers." he was yelling now.

Synth leaned against Ty lightly. "Ty he is my best friend and I know he has feelings for me but I don't have them for him."

Izzy did everything she could to punch him. "I was BORN without a family," she said horsely as tears started streaming down her cheeks, "Ty was the only living family I had left who cared about me. I didn't even get to meet my immidiate family. Do you know how that feels?" She choked out before she turned and went into the room with Ty and Synth. She turned and locked the door so Paul couldn't come in.
She didnt want to disturb their quiet conversation so she sat on a chair in a corner trying to hide her tears that Paul had brough up.

Ty glanced up at Izzy and shook his head before returning his attention to synth. He stroked her hair and said, "You'll have to talk to him then." After a moment of silence, he turned to face her and kissed her forhead gently. "So much for a happy reunion," he said sadly as he continued to hold Synth.
