Si paced her room, wandering what her little brother would be like now. What he would look like, what their relationship would be like. But of course she would never know.

Selene sighed "No my ex did." she said curling up a bit. She hugged her knees to her chest and starting crying again. "I went to where my house was, the one that was burnt down." she said closing her eyes " He showed up and reminded me of my past, he told me no one cared about me basically and then started cutting me with a knife. He said it was a game, that he wouldn't kill me. He said that wouldn't be painful enough" she said sobbing now "He carved at my heart so many times I couldn't count and then before I blacked out he said anyone that would get close to me would die" she said. Then she paused "He used to lie and tell me he loved me, but really he wanted information about my parents" she said "He was one of the ones that helped kill them" she explained hugging herself tighter. " I woke up and came here then, afraid you would come looking for me and he would kill you" she said. "I just wanted to make sure you would be okay" she said trailing off.

Kaname smiled "I don't want to ask you any questions, just tell me what you would like to and I'll listen" he said

As Amaya was leaving she overheard Selene. She stopped walking and listened. She kind of felt bad for Selene. Well, as much as she could feel bad for a vampire. She stood there quietly around the corner where they couldn't see her and listened.

"That's terrible," Ichiru said, not sure how else to say it. He put his arm around her, "But he's wrong. There are people who love you, Selene. Don't let that blockhead ruin your life. You know what? We should feel sorry for him, he's stuck in hatred. And I'm not gonna let you sink as low as him, okay?" It really wasn't a question. Ichiru was dedacted to making Selene happier. As of... right now.
Ichiru wondered if he could get away with kissing her...

Selene sighed "There are other scars than emotional" she pointed out "And mine are going to last for a while" she said putting her hand over her heart and wincing. "Thank you though" she said trailing off

Ebony nodded, "Umm...ok lets talk about..." Ebony broke off before she could finish, she smelt the air. "Something or someone is watching us" she hissed glaring wildly around the place.

Ichiru couldn't believe he was doing this. He leaned in slowly. Then he stopped. This felt way too weird. He'd always imagioned his first kiss being with Shizuki after she'd turned him into a vampire. Of course she'd never changed him into a vampire, so the fantasy sorta failed. Stop thinking about Shizuki, he told himself, you're with Selene not her! That's totally un-loyal.
Working up his nerve, he finally, quickly kissed Selene.
