Kyler looked up at the empty seat beside him. He hadn't meant to hurt her. He jumped out of the car and started running after her but figured it was no use, "Anna..." he whispered after her.

"Everything alright?" Adrian asked when Haven stopped to turn around. He smiled warmly at her as he moved to the door and held it open for her.

"Everything is fine. I'm just thinking about how much it hurts." Haven said quietly. She looked down at the floor and sighed.

Anna cried softly as she ran, she urled in a tight all in the woods, a spot of white in the dark forest. She cried herself to sleep.

Adrian frowned slightly and moved to her side, afraid to touch her in fear that he'd cause more pain to her. "What hurts?"

Kyler ventured out into the forest. He couldn't see anything but he knew these woods by heart. He bumped into something and looked down. It was Anna, in her wolf form.

Haven looked up at him curiously, "What are you talking about Adrian?"

Adrian just shook his head. "Maybe I just heard you wrong, that's all," he said with a weak laugh and wrapped his arm around her waist to keep her close to his side. "Ready to go?"

"Yep." Haven said happily. She smiled up at him and reached for the keys. As she did so she winced and doubled over in pain.

Anna remained asleep, he nose buried in her tail, a tear ran down her cheek as she slept.

Adrian gave her a warming smile, but it faded quickly when she doubled over in pain. "Haven," he said in a worried tone and kept at her side. "What hurts?"
