"unless you know how to shift your weight properly and run at about 25 miles per hour, your not gonna be able to do it .." she pointed out, soon putting her sword back into the cane, then tried to push away from her.

Sneji watched as Ashley destroyed the huge chain that suddenly appeared.
"Um...Len...shouldn't you have..."she whispered
"Not in my way-not my target"he quickly answered her.
The cheetah chain looked around again carefully.The voices of the dying here weren't so clear but the presence of chains was certainly higher.It meant they had gotten closer to the Abyss's core,where chains were created.This wasn't good at all.If there was any chance of them finding an exit without contracting one another,they had to go back to the other layer where only shards of light floated about in the endless pathways on the edges of this bottomless prison and where people whose souls were weak were crushed into nothing."Snow,can your little 'friends' lead us back onto the paths we were before?This area has no chance of holding an exit whatsoever." Len asked referring to the few golden lights that had strangely found a liking to the little girl and had followed her around.
"Huh...um...can you?"she asked them.They twinkled in agreement and started floating in one direction."Yup,lets go."
Perfect.Now we can lose those two- Len relaxed but his thought was cut short when Sneji shouted.
"Ash-sama,Yo-onii-chan,we're going to the other layer of Abyss where it's safer.Come with us"she called them since they were now at a distance from them.
There goes my silence he thought.

Ashley managed to get free of Yo-Yo's grip and dusted herself off, but cringed when she realized that she had a wound in her side. "what the? ... but the trump didn't even tough me ... did it?" she muttered to herself, holding the wound on her right side with her left hand to hide it. "you guys can go ... i'm sure i can find some way else out of here without CONTRACTING!" she snapped the last part at Len from his rudeness earlier.

Len shook his head.That girl was so concentrated on her past memory or whatever that she didn't even notice when the other chain injured her.For Len,such people were a double draw back since they always went forward without considering the situation.He let out a little growl to himself.He and Len would just have to go by themselves....or not.

"This is not good.We should all go together since we have a bigger chance that wa...Oh my goodness,Ash-onii-chan is injured!"Sneji gasped and ran back to them."I don't have any bandages but if you want,I can give you my hat to press it to the wound.It's nice and soft and keep out the cold since it's a wool winter hat" she offered,her eyes expressing her innocent concern.

"im fine ... i've dealt with injuries before." she murmured softly, gripping the wound a bit more tightly to apply pressure, slowing the bleeding.

"Ehh...."Akira said looking at the ground then getting up,but her bangs were covering her eyes."ummm....You guys can go without me,I'm not much use to you guys and Ashley got hurt because of me..."She said still smiling her usual smile."Don't worry I can take care of myself!"She said before tripping over nothing."Whoops..haha."She said rubbing the back of her head.

Ashley turned to face Akira quickly. "the only reason that chain attacked us is because of me ... if i wasn't 'this' ... it never would have come and tried to hurt any of you! ..." she snapped, soon having to kneel because her wound was bleeding too much and she was using a lot of energy. "... i guess the only way out ... is for you guys to open a pathway out of abyss ... Len ... im sure you'd have the strength to open one for you and the others if your powers were fully released ..." she murmured softly.

"No trust me if I didn't yell maybe it wouldn't have seen us!"She said franticly then taking her scarf she had tied around her waist and tied it to Ashley's wound."Is that better?"She asked looking at it.

"i already told you ... ive dealt with wounds before ..." she said lowly, almost struggling for breath now as she panted softly. She didn't know this feeling, but more flash's of the boy came into her head, ones that she hadn't seen in her dreams before, and they oddly made her 'weak in the knee's' as some would say.
