Ava sat down on the lowest branch of the tree she was standing by. "But even if I do, I would probably never know, since my brain does not think I need them. From what I have seen, most emotions just make humans do stupid things. Especially love. I do not see the point of that one."

"To me, it seems to be more like a cause of death than an emotion." Ava looked at Shane. "I do not know why anyone would think that the world was over just because of one person. If people think like that, they will most likely comit suicide someday. It might be easier to never have to know what that feels like."

Being her emotionless self, Ava noticed Shane's actions, but she didn't really know what to think of them. One of the things she was pretty bad at was interpreting human body language. Although Ava did notice that something was wrong, so she changed the subject. "Which house do you live in?" She asked. "I do not know anyone who lives on my street ... except for that idiot who followed me to this town."
