Andrew looked up at the girl. "Yes I do know everybody else is at breakfast, in the Great Hall," he began, and started standing up slowly, "but as you see I have no friends, and I am a Ravenclaw." He smiled sarcastically, shoving his nose into Defense Against the Dark Arts book again.
After a moment of finishing his paragraph he looked at the girl again. "I'm Knight, Drew Knight." He smirked, holding the book with his right arm, and put out his left hand for a handshake.

Luke Stonestream| Slythern| Year 1

"Yes. What's it to you? If I barf why should you care? Unless, I puke all over you...." Luke dropped his fork and pushed the plate away, feeling sick. "Urg. I feel like I was just engorged." He stood up and left, staggering out like a drunk man. He tried to climb up the stairs, but one of his feet got stuck in a vanishing stair. "Crap." He muttered, trying to pull himself free.

Quynh took his hand in a handshake. She realized that Drew was taking her mind off of what happened in the forest! Her face fell, as that thought brought back the memory of the unicorn. She shook her head to clear it, then put on a smile. "My name is Quynh Esteri and I am from Gryffindor." she said, faking a smile. She pulled her journal in to her body and stood awkwardly.

He looked at Quynh's tie. It was scarlet and gold. "I see that," he smiled, "as you can see, I am from Ravenclaw. Yay." He stretched out the 'a' sound in yay, making it sound sarcastic. "What year are you?" He questioned, not sure if there was a badge he was supposed to wear, whether or not to show him that he was in his first year at Hogwarts. Andrew noticed her frown. "You okay?"

Sammi looked around the hall and then turned to Will again. "Do you know what lesson we have next? I've forgotten." She asked and tucked a stray hair behind her ear.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just remembering some morbid memories." Quynh said. "I am a first year, just like you, I'm guessing." she smiled at him, startled by the fluttering in her stomach. "what is this I'm feeling?" she thought confused.

Andrew looked at the girl, she looked flustered. "You sure you're alright? No need to go to the hospital wing?" He book-marked the page of the huge book he was reading, and set it down next to his book, looking back at the girl (i didn't see her form ...), Andrew flicked his head back, and failed at getting the hair out of his eyes. He decided to put his fringe behind his ear.

Linette Edgens || Ravenclaw || Year 1:
Linette stood up, and said,"I'm going back to the common room. You coming?" to Callum. She didn't know if he wanted to come or not, so she guessed she had to ask before she left, or he would think she was rude and selfish. Linette sighed. She was probably over thinking things. Her old science teacher always told that to her.'

Will Degeno || Gryffindor || Year 1:
Will thought for a moment. "We have Defense Against the Dark Arts." Will replied, smiling a bit. He couldn't wait! He had always dreamed of DaDa, though it may sound stupid, he really wanted to try it out.

Elle Lendel || Slytherin || Year 1:
Elle's gaze turned cold. "You're exactly right. Why do I care? I don't need to waste my time worrying about people who might not even be Pure-blood." she snapped, as he stood up and left. She realized that she didn't have much to do than hang around the Great Hall, so she walked out of the Great Hall, and just had to take the same way Luke was. She sniggered as he got his foot stuck in a vanishing step.

Sammi heard this and her heart leapt, a grin spread on her face. "Defense against the Dark arts, I can't wait!!!" she burst out and then went quiet again and got rid off the massive smile on her face.

Callum looked up, surprised, as Linette said this. "I have nothing else to do," Callum put down his cutlery and stood up. He didn't really know what to do so he might as well go with Linette to the common room.
