Bella smiled as Ash crumpled into the car. He was okay—but obviously not. “Where’s Joe?” he asked raggedly.

Alex shook his head. "i don't know. All i know is i found you in there without a Joe" he explained with a frown. It was starting to get light out. she wouldn't be aloud out.

Bella winced. This was bad.

Alex saw Bella wince. "she's probably fine. We'll probably find her at the institute eating a cheese tick or something" he said with a weak smile as he got I'n. Allie rolled her eyes and gunned the truck once the door shut.

Bella nodded, but inside she felt sick. She put her arm around Alex’s waist for support; she could see his blond-haired head practically glowing in the moonlight.

Alex held her close, knowing she must have felt sick. That was a lot for ones brain to comprehend. Especially a mundanes. He took a deep breath and looked at Ash. 'we'll look for Joe if she's not at the institute' he mouthed to him.

Alex looked confused but soon realized what it was. "that i love you?" he asked smiling gently as he took her hands on his lovingly.

"when we were I'n there i said i wouldn't let him hurt you because i loved you" Alex replied gently turned her head towards him and kissed her softly.

Allie rolled her eyes.
