((We glomp every one here, all the time. XP I have a link for you, Absoli, to our little RP chatzy. I'll PM it to you. ^_^))

Wren hadn't quite expected Ari to react as he did, although thinking on it he probably should have. It was that strange boy who vowed to protect Skye with his life, which Wren should have taken more seriously. Now, face flushing very white after another pained yelp, he had learned that little bit of advice very well, sadly too late. Great god it hurt. Lithius claws were fairly long, and when stuck in their entirety into his arm, down to what Wren imagined to be the bone, the sensation was practically agonizing. More importantly, it left his arms completely limp, impossible to move them with Ari's claws in the muscle, effectively freezing it. And causes extreme pain simultaniously, which was making blood trickle down his arms quickly. Ari was learning, much to Wren's horror. After a shudder and a harsh breath, Wren managed a quite pained, and very, very annoyed snarl."You. Are. An. Idiot. Do you really think he would be stupid enough to let himself die? Do you really think I would keep doing that even if it killed him? I'm trying to save his life. You ignorant bastard." Yes, it was a bit harsh on Wren's part, but he was in pain. Any kindness on his part would have been ludicrous, not that he would have even thought of it right then. Although it might have helped to get those claws out of his shoulders faster, but too late for that by then. Nothing left to do but glare and snarl, and plot Ari's demise the instant he could move.
Skye, at the sight of blood, almost forgot his previous trauma. The scent of Wren's blood, and a lot of it, brought forth a few rather vivid flashbacks of sorts, most of which far from pleasant. The times when that was a bad thing, when Skye had actually tried to protect that boy, and from when they had fought each other. The taste of the meds still in his mouth, the violent ones aimed against Wren made better sense. So his eyes were wide, staring blankly and almost angrily, pondering if he should do something. Getting up and stabbing one of them with the knife he had just seen Wren put away sounded very pleasant, but thankfully Skye couldn't think that well yet. If he had been able to, things would have gotten more gory then they already had very quickly, and Wren might have died then and there. And as that would have left Skye with no way of recovering, the young boy's demise would soon follow. ANd given Ari had said he'd kill himself if that happened... all in all, the end would come quickly.

Yes, Wren really should have expected Ari to react like this. Just because he was usually weak and terrible at fighting did not mean that he wasn't going to do something. Especially after watching that little display that had just gone on with his love. Ari had just watched Skye's face go from normal colored, to purple. Not something that was pleasant, and something that he was for sure going to do something about. It had truly scared him deeply. Even if he knew that Wren wouldn't have killed the boy, which was proved by what he then said a few moments later, it still....it had scared him. It was very nice to hear a pained yelp come from Wren, and he simply gave a dark smirk as his face paled a very white....white. Ari actually had never expected for Wren to react like this to his claws being dug into his skin, but then again...it was his claws...being shoved into his shoulders as deep as they could go. So just a tad painful, no? And so this reaction should have been expected, just as Wren should have expected Ari's own reaction. But what did surprise him was that Wren actually wasn't...doing anything. Like trying to pull out a knife and gut him, or slit his throat....or something of that sort. Because he of course would not know that it was leaving Wren's arms limp, because it he had known that...? Oh god. Wren would be in a world of hurt right now. The only thing holding Ari back from actually snapping more than this was the fear of Wren's retaliation. He could feel his hands and the cloth on his wrists soaking with blood already, but he did nothing, except the addition of a slightly disgusted look to his face. "No I don't think he is. Not in this state. And I don't give a care that you're trying to save his life. Do you really think that just showed me you're trying to save his life!? You were suffocating him." Ari spat back, before adding, "And I am not an ignorant bastard, thank you. But I just watched you sit on my love's chest, shove some stuff into his mouth, and then force him to swallow it by cutting off his breathing." Ari's eyes narrowed before he bit down on his tongue. Right now, Wren calling him that...shouldn't be on his mind. But it still wasn't like it was his favorite name. Least, actually. Of course, the biting down on his tongue made it bleed, and he only knew that from the taste that was in his mouth. Ripping one hand free, which was now covered in Wren's blood he gripped onto Wren's chin. "If I ever see something like that again...I swear this wont be the only thing I do." With that being said, Ari slid his claws out from Wren's other shoulder. He had thought about ripping it out like the other one...but decided that he had caused enough pain. For now. Now grabbing Wren's shoulders again, he threw the boy backwards against the couch before turning and glancing at Skye. Who was staring over at them with wide eyes, looking like he was thinking about doing something.

Ari clearly had no idea just how much pain he was causing Wren. 'Mere flesh wounds' hurt a few hundred times less then anything that reach the muscle, let alone the bone, which Ari's claws were currently doing. The blood flow was thick, already trailing down his arms, and pooling by Wren's limp hands. If he could, move would be dead. But given he couldn't get his arms to so much as twitch and the pain was making him light-headed. But Wren had gone through much more agony then just about anyone his age or older, and while the average person would probably he passing out, he managed another snarled, and very pained, answer. "Oh? Then what do you think I should do? I told you, his reflexes are normal, that's why he swallowed in the end. I wouldn't have let it kill him even if he didn't. Would you rather have him be dazed like this and die in a few weeks? Killing me will do that." Wren had paused a few times as he spoke to take a heavy, strained breath, trying to keep himself from snapping. He had to get those claws out. And his angered self, more so then he already was anyways, would prevent that from happening. His wish was granted when Ari ripped the first hand out, which made Wren yelp again, this time the tone obviously pained and tiring. A sixteen year old's body couldn't keep up with lack of sleep, lack of blood, and severe pain for long, Lithius or not. He barely managed to answer, gaze quickly blurring as the pain worked it's way towards shutting down his mind. "Next time, I will be more careful and kill you before you can so much as blink." And that was the honest truth. Wren couldn't have hated Ari more right then. Yes, the boy had just been defending his love, someone Wren cared about as well, but agony wiped all of that into irrelevance. The new of feeling the touch on his face, coated in hois own blood, was maddening. There would be time to ponder the justification later. Somehow making it that he didn't make a sound as Ari pulled out his other hand, other then a slight shutter, Wren added no further comment as he was throw against the back of the couch. And what was he supposed to do, catch himself with arms that weren't moving? Slumping to half-lie down on it, blood smearing impressively, Wrne let out a silent gasp. Blood flow was faster with the gouges now open, and blindingly painful, with the addition of the tear left from Ari ripping his claws out. Vision quickly blurring over, his gaze settled on his limp arm that lay next to him, the other twisted underneath him, a horrifying realization coming to mind. Ari might have torn the nerves. Which meant they would never move again. Which meant quickly approaching death. Taking a slow, labored breath, he focused his mind on moving the fingers. To his relief, they twitched. So at least that arm wasn't maimed. There would be time to test the other... later. When he could feel it a bit better.
Right about then, Skye looked up, gaze resting on the puddle of blood forming around Wren's head and shoulders. Ari looking at him didn't matter, that image bring back yet another flashback of sorts. Eyes widening in shock, he rose slowly, unsurely walking to injured boy's side, disregarding Ari. His face became confused, and horrified. This was a boy he actually cared about, in more then a little pain. Wren had saved his life several times over and the reverse, so those memories overpowered the event that had occurred just a minute or two earlier. Admittedly, Skye stayed a few inches away, but his face was shocked and saddened, reaching out to gently trace on the bleeding Mark's on his arm. Wren didn't react, having long since snapped his eyes shut, teeth gritted together, in a vain attempt to try to drown out the pain. Turning to Ari, face confused and almost questioning, trying to ask how that had happened. He couldn't quite piece together that Ari was the one who had done that, thankfully for Ari's life.

Ari actually didn't know how much pain he was causing Wren. Because if he did, he probably wouldn't be doing this. Or at least not to this extent. Because as much as he was hating Wren right now, he still didn't...fully hate them. If that made any sense whatsoever, at least it did to Ari. He was slightly surprised at how much blood was actually falling down from Wren's new gouges. That seemed to snap in his brain and make him realize just far he had actually gone. As Wren replied to him, pausing to take ragged breaths, Ari's face suddenly fell. "I don't know what you should do. But that wasn't...right Wren...." Ari said slowly, blinking as if he was trying to think. Which he was. He couldn't think straight right now. "I wouldn't kill you..." He then whispered in response to Wren's last sentence, looking slightly confused. And this...was why he never fought. He just got too confused with everything, never really knew how far he took anything. Aside from the fact that he was pretty terrible at it. Ari gave a sudden slight flinch when he heard Wren's yelp as he ripped out his claws. Oh [censored]. Yup. He had been thinking that Wren had gone too far, but really he had only done what he needed to do. Ari was actually the one who had just gone too far. Wren had merely been wanting to help Skye, and get those medications into his body and he knew that the only way to do that was forcing him. Of course he shouldn't have done it like that, but that was probably Ari's fault. This sudden thought widened his eyes. Of course, then Wren went on to say that next time he would just be killing him. With that, his eyes widened more and he paled. Wren had every right to be hating him right then, even if Ari also had a right to be hating him as well and a right to be defending Skye. As just stated before, Ari felt like he had gone too far. He was surprised that Wren didn't say or do anything as he pulled out his other hand, but he was just glad that he hadn't ripped his hand out like last time. Or was he? He wasn't sure. And in defense, he didn't know that Wren's arms and hands weren't working. If he had, he might not have thrown the boy back against the couch. But he did give him a slightly confused and questioning glance. Why the heck did he just let him...be thrown....Ari cocked his head to the side, trying to understand why. Trying to understand what had just happened and why he had just snapped like that. Although it was slightly justifiable. He would be horrified to learn that he could have caused Wren damage like that, but at least in the one arm it wasn't. Ari then watched as Skye's eyes widened in shock, which was understandable. But then...he got up and walked over to Wren, completely ignoring him. The hurt was evident on his face, even if it didn't completely show how deeply that had actually hurt him. His eyes followed his love with such a deep hurt in them, and then Skye turned to him with a confused look. Ari stared at Skye for a moment, before looking down at Wren. That was...a lot of blood. Sighing he forced himself to walk into the kitchen and wash his hands from Wren's blood. They were only going to get bloody again with what he was going to do, but oh well. Then, walking towards the bathroom he grabbed some bandages, which he had found earlier when he had been scouting through the apartment. Walking back into the main room and over to Wren, he grabbed him and pulled him into a...semi-decent sitting position. "Skye. Go sit down." He asked of the younger Lithius, not wanting him to just be standing there watching him attempt to bandage Wren up. Ari was such a strange boy. He caused the reason for Wren's bleeding, and was now wanting to patch it up. Yes. Same with Skye that while ago when they were in the run down store. Ari grabbed the boy's shirt and removed it before leaning him forward slightly. The shirt was slightly soaking with blood...but Ari still attempted to use it to wipe the blood off of Wren. And then...the fun part. Bandaging. He tightly bandaged one shoulder, tying that off before moving to the next. He had no idea if he should be disinfecting the wound, or how to even do that.... Should he be cauterizing these instead?

Wren was in more then a little bit of pain. Vision quickly blurring, now he couldn’t make out more then still dimming shapes. His mind was effectively shutting down in an attempt to save energy needed for recovery and to get away from the pain. None of that, naturally, was working very well right then. For the same growing hurt that he as trying to not feel was keeping him conscious. Dimly hearing what Ari said, he didn’t do another from a slow moment, before stringing together a few pained, labored words in a vain attempt at managing what he wanted to say. “It was the only thing to do… you arrogant bastard. And won’t kill me? Happy with… just maiming me? Oh joy.” Clearly Wren is a increasingly bad mood, given that in his eyes Ari had just caused him a huge amount of hurt, and possibly made it so one or both of his arms would never move again. And what happiness that was, given that injuries like that synonymed with quickly incoming death. Not to mention there wasn’t much he could do for Skye with only one hand, and nothing with neither. So Ari might as well have just killed them both on the spot, it seemed. But for then, Wren wasn’t thinking about that. What mattered was his growing desire to find a way to slaughter Ari, and to somehow get away from the pain. Half-curled up on the couch -in a small pool of his own blood- Wren looked quite small and weak, even though he was taller then both Ari and Skye, if only by an inch or two and defiantly not heavier. He let out a silent groan as Ari pulled him up into a slightly-slumped sitting position, without arms to stabilize himself at all not much more was to be expected, and barely noticed Ari leave the room for a moment. By the time he had, the boy had returned. Which made Wren yelp for a third time, tone slightly ragged and weak if still furious and pained, when he felt bandages tighten around one of the two sets of gashes. Oh, how it hurt. Worse then when it had been un-bandaged, defiantly, but at least now his blood wasn’t flowing down his arm quite as fast. He didn’t say anything, but rather let his gaze utterly flatten. It wasn’t like with Skye, who made himself so oblivious to everything that there was no pain, but rather he literally just left. As if the light switch in his brain was turned off for the moment. But what was to be expected, him to stay there and take the pain? His mind would return when he wasn’t in danger of death and the agony faded a bit, slowly but much more surely then with Skye. That was difference between them that made all the difference. When Skye was angry, he didn’t let up until something was dead. When he was in pain, he locked himself in a little corner of his mind and threw away the key. With Wren, he knew when he had to control himself. When agony faded, his mind returned. That made all the difference between merely being ‘unstable’ as Wren was deemed, and ‘insane’ as Skye was. Crossing that little line meant life or early death in the end.
Skye, meanwhile, was horrified. He didn’t fully understand, or even slightly understand, what was happening. What he did get was that someone his faint memory was telling him he had cared about was bleeding heavily, sounding and looking like he was in a lot of pain, which he was. Dimly comprehending what Ari said, he sat down on the now quite scarlet couch, about a foot from Wren as he still didn’t want to be closer then that after the medicine incidents. Once again reacting out to lightly trace the still-unbandaged gashes, he was clearly thinking vaguely of something. While he wasn’t fully thinking about it, Skye had fixed up that sort of thing time and time again, and he knew that he should be doing something, just what was beyond him. Finally his gaze traveled to the bandaging in Ari’s hand, and his eyes faintly lit up. Kind of asking via a questioning sound of sorts, and gently tugging at them, what he wanted was obvious.

Lithius

Username:Absoli

Character name: Danny[]Silence[]EverCross
Nickname:
Age (15-19): 17
Gender:
Sexuality:Straight. I have already seen a bit of the others, and so far I think I will stick to opposite gender wish thanks. I hate the others, they kind of gross me out.
Crush:Like anyone cares about me now? I used to be pretty. Now I am some freak thats called a Lithum or whatever. Although, maybe someday I will find the right one, but for now sence I am not really in the clan of these creatures just yet I can search for someone.

Height: 5'4"
Weight:102 Pounds
Hair color:Dark Brown almost in the dark the color of Black. Its soft as well as curly most of the time, but with a little work in the mornings her hair will become flat and long. Although the length of her hair does not go past her shoulders.
Eye color:used to be Brown, but now red.
Skin tone:Pale White from lake of now sunlight.
Description: Slender build, but mostly not taken back from that she has shoulder length hair that falls down to just at the tip of her shoulder tops. She has pale skin almost as if she was born with very little sunlight, but natural tune with her body that does not change. Her eyes are blood shot red sence she was changed, and the only thing left of her human life is her tattoo she has by her ankle. It is a Chinese Dragon that wraps aroudn her ankle bone that does stick out a bit. Her bones do show from her weight, but usually she has good gripping skills.

Personality:Usually she can be a bit distant at times, her actiosn mostly kept secret for anyone she knows. Why? She never did trust easy as a kid, but know with her growning nature she does somewhat branch out a bit to find others who might be willing to give her a chance. She does hate herself at times for begin distant as well as keeping to herself, but with her growing up as a loner it was simple for her to become that why over time. Although, when her hard shell is broken she can be the most caring person around trying the help when needed. At times it may seem like she is evil from inside out, but truthfully on the inside her heart is the one of pure gold from that of care. But, don't think for one second she can't be mean. Claws as her own blades, and her eyes as slits of snake like she can do some damage if you mess with her. Having trained in combat with her free time, as wlel as only having a few shows to watch by parents she learned well the history of combat as well as skills in a bow and arrow. Before she was 8 she knew how to take out a elk with a clean shot to the eye. Easy cake for her.Although, considering her careful made personality she has not used in in a year or so
How long have you been a Lithius?:
I guess for a good two years. The feeling still is not like before, but I kind of sometimes secretly wish for a human life again. Or to have boyfriend that really cars about me, not some stupid monster like me who is a Lithius. Although, considering the burning in the sun I will keep my mouth shut on the fact that I still care about humans as well. But, onto the question for about 2 years now.

Cloak(s): A black one covering her head, but the only difference is it has a mask covering her face that is white with black holes for eyes and mouth.

Modifications from infection: I have a scar from my left eye down to my upper lip that is when it stops. When it glows I grow two long horns on my knuckles which I never seen before on a creature, but I got it. There about 3" wide and 7' long. There pure black matching my nails, and there very sharp at the tip.

Literacy Example: Fading lighting into her mind was easy from what she knew as life. Her arms burned like fire fueling into the raging inferno behide her that already caught dead to the trees. Already she could feel the flesh of her pale skin burning off from her weak limb bones, and that left the exposing flesh under staring then be ripped away. She never knew it could come to this. The last breath in this world that she knew, and with a soft muffled cry behide her she turned catchign her friend meeting the same fate. Ash. He was bounded to the ground his arms red by his stuggling to become free of his chains that where volted to the ground. although, by his looks with his head placed onto the silver steel he cryed softly his hair covering his eyes as the fire came at them with a roaring lion like power. She closed her own eyes hoping anyone would arrive to help them out of this, but with a final look at Ash she buried her head in her soft hair letting the black take her away.
Smiling Danny closed the book knowing they would be saved in the next few sentences by a knight anyways. Her pale fingers ran though the bits of the pages as the book closed over showing only the hard cover as it flipped shut. Even the smell of the book she could tell it was old. It smelled like a book from the school, something that belonged in a museum then in her own hands. As she ran her pale fingers across the leather bounded book she gave a soft sigh feeling the leather as if like skin. Sometimes she forgot this was a book, and sometimes she imaged it a creature with a breath of life coming form its pages wanting to be read by minds. Suddenly, as if feeling it her eyes began slightly glassed with a tiny tear that began to form at the corner of her left eye. It came out of her orbital traveling down her cheek, then hanging on her chin for a few seconds before ending at the wooden tabletop. Her eyes traveled to stare down at the tear, a sigh coming from deep inside her chest. She knew this day was coming, and someone she felt it was wrong to be starting it with a tear. So pushing back from the table to rise from her soft chair on the kitchen she walked to the window of her Grandmothers house to stare out. She could guess she was glad she was leaving this behide to travel to a new, although a bit of her was scared for a new. New came with risks, but she hoped she was ready to face them as she ran her hand along the glass window gently.

Other: Nope.
