Kris ducks just in time. She stood back up and looked at Mica, who was still holding onto her wand on the same spot.

Jace stood up quickly and ran to where he could see both girls

Kris stood, wand out and ready. She bit her tongue nervously.

Jace once again shot a silent curse towards the other girl
