"Err.... Hi Aldan," Kris says, feeling her cheeks grow red.She didn't know what to say, and she felt like an idiot now.

Aldan couldn't control when his hand reached out, his knuckle brushing over her blush with a touch so soft it may not have even happened. "I apologize for my behavior earlier," he said, his usually monotone voice a tad softer than usual. "I'm feeling much better now."

Kris smiles a bit. "It's fine, don't worry about it," she says calmly.

Aldan nodded slightly, his hand finding its way back to his side. He didn't know what to say now, his heart thudding against his rib cage violently.

Kristen didn't speak, she was thinking of what to say in the awkward moment.

Aldan looked down at her hands, then to her face. "Are you alright?" he asked quietly, referring to her fall and the slight redness on her palms. He didn't wait for an answer, lifting the appendage with both of his own for inspection. If she was hurt...

"I'm fine, I've had much worse falls than that..." Kris says, still slightly embarrassed. She tucks a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, which was unusually down today.

Aldan traced his thumb over the area of red on the heel of her palm, then looked up into her eyes. He let go of her hand. "You should be more careful next time," he said softly.
