The Vampress looked up. " Who? I'm not too sure....I forgot his name or something like that.." She pulled out her phone and started messing around. " Yeah..I forgot.." She said.

"Sadly yes. He can be kind of cold and bossy, but he is an ok guy," Laila said looking at Xavier. "Are you sure your ok? You're loosing a lot of blood," she said facing Selene again.

"Again with the not finishing your sentences. I bet every princess has a stalker. So it's nothing to worry about," Xavier said sarcastically.

" Eh...dunno. There's even more now that I'm about to be a queen..." The Vampress pointed out. " Plus, we knew each other, but he never knew I was royal. Til a few years ago, of course.."

"So the Vampress is scared of a friend. No surprise there," Xavier said coldly. "What happened a few years ago that changed it? Were you too good for him?"

" No, it was just he...I dunno...freaked out, I guess. Or he hadn't had blood in a while...and there was the thing with his ex-girlfriend....." The Vampress finally shrugged. " Ask him, I guess," She turned and looked away, tears slowly trekking down her face.

Jager finished with the hall and knocked on the Vampress' door; no answer. "That's strange." he muttered and knocked again, louder this time. There was still no answer. He knew it was risking his life to enter a royal room without permission, but he did anyway. Once he walked in the door, she wasn't there. Jager shook his head and started dusting, she was out of the castle again. Once he was done with her room, he left the castle to go home to his secret kingdom.

"I'll be fine I will just have to find some blood soon" Selene said grimacing. She hated causing any creature pain. She hated violence. Violence, she thought. That's what tore my life and the world apart, she thought again. Then she looked at Laila and her brother Xavier talking to the Vampress. "He should be careful" she murmered "There's more to her than mmeets the eye" Selene said. She had heard rumors about the neckless the Vampress often wore. She shivered slightly and stood then. "Your brother has seemed to thaw out in front of her" she murmered. "Maybe he's not as cold as he seems" she said to herself. Then stopped "Now the only thing left to do is watch them I suppose" she said

Mark watched the others, he seethed at seeing the Vampress cry. But right now she did not like him, so he would stay hidden. He would not trouble the one he had always, and would always love. He didn't like her for her status. No, he wasn't that kind of guy. He liked her for her. She could protect herself so well. But in one second that could change, and she would be the innocent girl crying on the floor. Like now for instance. Mark watched from the near by shadows. He was a little jealous of the other guy. How easily she talked to him, not running away. He sighed and sat, he always blended into the shadows.

The Vampress looked over at Selene, catching some of her words with a laugh. No one knew the true power of the necklace. It didn't do any harm, and she actually thought it was funny when people said it did. She fingered around with the necklace, flipping it back over her shoulder. She wouldn't press it, her eyes would then change back to normal, and her clothes would change back to the royal ones. The ones she hated. She turned her attention away again. She didn't really care what people thought about her, depending on who the person was.

Jagar walked by a group of people. He thought he could make out the Vampress, but decided it wasn't worth risking. He walked past Selene and continued down the street, his coat tail flapping behind him.

"Xavier can take care of himself. He can be a softy sometimes. Sometimes I don't even see how we could ever be related," Laila laughed looking at her brother.

Xavier ignored Laila's comments. "Don't cry. Looks like you are not as tough as you seem, princess," Xavier said coldly to the Vampress.
