Zelos Rune, District 3

Holding his necklace, Zelos was alone in his house. Not that, of course, he could be with someone unless they weren't family. He had no one left in the district, and he was on his own. He sighed, tucking the small orange jewel back in his shirt, stretching as he walked outside into the dimming light, seeing if there was anything to do around town.

Mithos Cecil, District 4

Mithos walked along the boat dock, looking out into the horizon and waiting for his father to return. He glanced anxiously back and forth between his dog, Harley, and the waters. He got restless, eventually deciding to go swimming, even though he still had clothes on and no swimsuit. He jumped into the calm waters, closing his eyes in bliss. Harley jumped after him, drinking the water as he swam. Mithos laughed at the small border collie mix, leaning back and drifting away, his eyes closed. He smiled peacefully, listening to the sounds of the water.

Arayna "Rae" Choff, District 9

She walked silently along, head down, hoping to not be noticed. She looked at bugs scurrying beneath her feet, stopping to admire a couple. She glanced up occasionally just to check that she was still going the right way. Her dad's home was still a unfamiliar path to her, even if she had lived there for almost two years now. Her mother's house was still the path she remembered.
She quickly turned into the door, turning the knob and peering inside. Her dad was asleep, on the couch. He opened his eyes groggily when the door creeked, and smiled at Rae.
"Hey Kiddo," he said quietly, sitting up. "Did you get anything?"
Rae nodded and handed him a small paper bag, still warm from the bread inside. Her father took a piece out, splitting it and giving the larger piece to her. She looked up, taking the bread and quietly saying thank you.

Lenna Williams, District 3
Lenna walked down the street with her tesserae clutched between her arms. She walked among the streets she knew so well, closing her eyes to feel the sun's warmth. Suddenly, she felt herself bump into something. She opened her eyes too late, dropping her tesserae. One of the bags of grain burst open, coating her leg. She blushed when she realized what she had hit into.... a person! ((Zelos Rune)) "Sorry." she said sheepishly. She looked away, embarrassed, then picked up her remaining bags. It was just her luck to run into somebody right when she was carrying home her tesserae.

Starr Herriot, District 4
Starr walked back out of the house, stopping to check in on the aquarium. Nobody was doing anything too bad. Just to be safe, she slid the glass cover over the top of the Touch Pool, pushing the 'Closed' button to shut off the sign on the side of the tank. She didn't want anyone to steal any of the sea life in it for money.... or for food.

Walking out to the beach, she observed the people around her. Most were relatively wealthy, with new clothes and robust figures. A few were completely muscled, with vicious sneers on their faces. Yet another group was the poor group. These were the worst, with sunken faces and bony arms, reaching out to her for money or food....

She made it down to the beach, to see a boy swimming in the water. He didn't look old enough for the Hunger Games, she thought. And why was he wearing his clothes in the water?

Peter district 5

Looks over towerds Allie, he waves "hi!" And smiles " Why don't you come over and talk? It's lots of fun!" He turns to Nath" I shall be right back." He waks towerds Allie. "I'm Peter who are you? "

Allie Gramm~District 5~ Age 17
Allie looked at Peter with a small smile on her face, she brushed her golden blonde lock of hair behind her ear and then smiled showing her teeth. "Allie Gramm." She said confidentally. "Im not much of a water fan.." She said looking down at her feet. It seemed everything fun had to revolve around water, but she tried her best to stay positive about it.
Brock Stoner- District 10- Age 15
Stone's eyes lit up in a matter of seconds. Nodding quickly "I would love too!" she squeeled. Storking Aspens head again. Brock looked up at Kiki again. "Sounds like we'll be meeting up here again then." Brock said thinking of how stupid that probley sounded. "We'd probably should get going here, our mothers waiting for us to bring back supper but--" Brocks voice trailed off as Stone innterrupted. "We should be here tomorrow at 5 o clock sharp" She said proudly

Zelos Rune, District 3.

Humming quietly to himself, Zelos put his hands behind his head. He ran into someone, and opened his eyes. "It's fine," he said softly, leaning over and taking a bag of tesserae from the ground. He passed it to the girl, who looked younger then him. He looked at her sympathetically, since it was partially his fault her tesserae bag broke open and the contents were on the ground. "I can replace some of that grain, if you need me to." He said, glancing back at his small house. "I live right there, and I have enough food to go around." He shrugged, looking at her and waiting for her answer, sticking his hands in his pocket.

Mithos Cecil, District 4.

Mithos ducked into the water, coming back up and looking around. He noticed a girl watching him. He suddenly felt embarassed to be seen in the water with his clothes on. He called to Harley, lifting himself onto the nearest boat dock. He didn't look at the girl again, but instead decided his father was late and headed back in the direction of his house, hoping there was something else to do. Dripping wet, he walked across the boat dock, past the girl, and rounded a corner to go back home. He didn't feel like being seen by others now, he was still unconformable with being around people too much, especially being only 11.

~District 1~Onyx Meeker~16~Male

With both girls close to him, he said, "Well, we're off!" and they walked. It was funny to Onyx how each girl held onto his arm. Lux's was almost a death grip, except there wasn't near as much tightness involved. She did have her fingers curled around Onyx's bicep, almost pressed against his entire arm. Her body was rather closer than Avery was. Avery's grip was was light, only elbows touching, but their fingers were intertwined. Onyx laughed as boys his age gave him hateful stares. He even heard one guy say, "I wish I was him..." to his friend. Doesn't everyone? He asked himself.

Lux grinned, looking up at Onyx. She liked him already. The trio was getting stares of all sorts as they made their way down the sidewalk. Whether in awe, envy, or hate, Lux sucked it up like a sponge. She enjoyed attention. And she would gain the most sponsors, when she got Reaped. That was the plan. Her and Onyx would go together. To the top. Then...she would be victorious.

Nicole ran out of school, and straight home. Her father was expected home today. She ran into her house, almost smiling. Forget hinting, if her dad was home, he would have food with him. She walked through the kitchen "Mom?" she called, her mother should be home bye now... But there was no one there. Nicole frowned. ~maybe she's working late~ she thought

Kayleca, Capitol
Kayleca poured through the information for her biggest job yet. The council had not yet assigned Districts to Stylists yet, and Kayleca hoped she got one of her personal favorite districts. A knock at her office door made Kayleca push the papers into a drawer, and she opened the door. Her manager stood waiting there. "Kay, the customer who wants to place a custom order for her dress is here," she explained. "Oh, she came already? Send her to the conference room please and tell her I'll be right there," Kayleca replied. This particular customer happened to be a very prestigious person who decided to have Kayleca design her wedding dress. The news that she had been chosen as a Hunger Games Designer had increased her business lately.

Nico, District 9
Nico unwrapped the chunk of meat he was able to buy, and chopped it into cubes. He stuck them into a pa and fastened it to the holder above the fire. "How'd it go?" his mother asked. "Rough, as usual. The overseer tripped over some rocks and made a scene," Nico replied, inwardly laughing at the memory. Pretending not to have heard the second part, his mother carried on. "Your sister was able to get to the bakery in time for some fresher bread today." Nico's mood lifted a little at the thought of good bread for dinner.

Maleni Cropp, capitol
Maleni threw her purple hair up into a high ponytail, and picked up her purse. She stalked out the door and into her car. Maleni drove out onto the freeway. she pulled off and drove up to a large building. Maleni walked in the door and slid a form through to a woman wearing large black earings. "Form for stylist, preffered district five." She smacked the bubblegum in her mouth. her blue diamond on her arm flashed and sparkled.

Nicole Becker, 12
Nicole ran out to her mother's clothes shop. And ran in the door. "mom!" she yelled

"I'm right here honey!" came her mother's reply
Nicole walked into the sewing room, and hugged her mom. "where were you...." Nicole screamed in happyness "DAD!" she yelled, Her father smiled and hugged her. "lets go home" he said in a soothing voice.

Lenna Williams, District 3, 13
Lenna looked up at the boy she had just run into. It felt rude to ask for food, but what would she lose? She would starve to death if she didn't get it." Um, sure." she said, standing up again, trying to look as dignified as she could with wheat stuck to her pant legs. "Are you sure you have enough? I don't want to pressure you." Lately, she had been trying to avoid all possible teens that she could. Just last year, she had had a close friend for about a month. Then her friend had been shipped off to the Hunger games, never to return. This was different though. This was an offering of survival.

Starr Herriot, District 4, 15
Starr watched the boy swim away from her. For some reason he was scared of her. Starr shrugged- she was used to it. While she didn't try to be scary, sometimes it came naturally.

However, for some reason she was intrigued by the boy. He looked familiar somehow, even though he looked so young. She had probably seen him around town- she had a knack with faces. Trying to be silent, she followed the kid, not knowing exactly why she was.

Kiki laughed as Stone gave the time they should meet. "She's a natural-born leader." She commented, giving a wink in Stone's direction. She then looked back up at Brock. "I think it'd be fun to meet her at five." She clutched her game bag more tightly in her hands. "Well, I guess we say our goodbyes. Au revoir!" Kiara said with a smile, giving them a quick wave before she plunged through the thick bushes and out of sight, Aspen close behind.
