Luxuria sighed loudly. Clearly expressing the fact that she wanted to be alone with Onyx. But whatever. I suppose she could tag along. But. She will suffer the concequences of being there. And the wway she looked at him.. That girl definitely liked him. But either Onyx wasnt interested, or he just didnt realize it. Maybe it was both. What a hooker. She thought. She did NOT like any competition from girls. Apparently the two were close friends. But Lux didnt care. She would get her way. She always did. Blatantly staring at Avery with a harsh glare, she looped her small arm through Onyx's. Her fingers curling around him posessively. "She can come." Lux said sweetly to him. Then looking back at Avery, eyes narrowed, and a huge grin on her tiny face.

~District 1~Onyx Meeker~16~Male

Onyx grinned. "Great!" Lux hooked arms with him, and his pulse began to beat a bit faster, but he pretended like it was no big deal. Onyx wouldn't let himself be some easy prize for all the girls in District 1. I am like a priceless artistic masterpiece. You can look and gape at my beauty, but no one can touch. He thought to himself smugly. "Care for the other arm? I've got two." Onyx offered Avery the arm that wasn't already occupied by Lux.

Avery Kane-District One-Female-16

Avery smiled. "Thank Lux," she said. She laughed and took Onyx's other arm. Holding hands with Onyx was no big deal for her. It was like breathing. No tension involved. Then again, Avery was never tense.

~Allie Gramm~ District 5~ Age 16~

Allie's mother sent her out to the market to buy some vegtables for dinner. She walked with her head down, trying not to make eye contact with anyone. When she arrived at the bakery she filled her basket full of vegtables like carrots, corn, tamatoes, and paid at the counter. As she was walking back she could here a rattling noise, looking up she noticed two boys just a few years younger then her trying to climb under the fence. Where they crazy?! She thought to herself. If they got caught.. who knows what would happen to them? She marched over to where the two boys were. "What do you think your doing" she bursted out, suprising herself too. The younger of the two looked up at her- mud prints across his face and hands from digging. He looked at his brother then facing back to Allie. "Well-" he started. "We wanted to know what other Districts are like" the youngest one replied. Allie looked at the boys. Had there parents not told them of the dangers? The risks and the punishment? Allie took a deep breath and spoke "Other Districts?" She asked questioning them. As both the boys nodded. "Well, I suppose most of us will ever know. But I would never try to escape. The punishment if caught can be horrible." Allie swallowed hard thinking about it. "Sometimes even death" Both boys stopped digging and looked up. "I don't think your making a very good choice. But im not incontrol of you" She said truning away.


-Brock Stoner- District 10- Age 15


Brock and continued to hunt, while his sister continued to pick erbs and berries. His sister walking up to him with a smile on her face, "Well i've filled my basket" She said smiling showing her proudness. Brock nodded as he picked up the rabbit's he had caught. Just enough to feed his family. They started walking about to there house when Brock realized something. The drawing for the games were soon. Anytime now. The thought of it sent chills up his back. Every year he dreaded watching children his age fight till death. The thought of it sounded cruel. And this year he wasn't the only one in the drawing, his sister would have her name be put in too.

With both girls close to him, he said, "Well, we're off!" and they walked. It was funny to Onyx how each girl held onto his arm. Lux's was almost a death grip, except there wasn't near as much tightness involved. She did have her fingers curled around Onyx's bicep, almost pressed against his entire arm. Her body was rather closer than Avery was. Avery's grip was was light, only elbows touching, but their fingers were intertwined. Onyx laughed as boys his age gave him hateful stares. He even heard one guy say, "I wish I was him..." to his friend. Doesn't everyone? He asked himself.

Brock watched as the girl about his age shoot the deer. He grinned. "That was my deer" he thought, frustrated. He stepped out from the tree he was standing behind. He looked at the girl. She was thin, like he was. He grinned. "Hi" he said softly as though trying not to make any mistakes. "Im Brock" he said taking a step forward, waiting for a response. "You've got quiet the arm with that arrow" he said pointing to the arrow dangling in her hand".

Kiara was startled as a boy started talking to her from the other side of the tree. A growl began rumbling in Aspen's throat. "Aspen, sit." She said, and Aspen's butt sank to the ground. Kiara smiled kindly at the boy, and when he complimented on her shooting, her smile turned into an embarrassed grin. "Why, thanks." She said, her cheeks flushing. She looked up into his eyes and held out her hand. "My names Kiara Hale. My friends call me Kiki."

Walked around her house, she sneaked out into the woods grabbed her knife and climbed a tree, and waited. She waited for a movement of any source. Just then a rabbit jumped out she threw her knife and hit the rabbit. he wanted to scream in happiness, Yes! I caught the rabbit! but she couldn't it was too risky.
